" this assignment is becoming to be a load of shit." Rand walked off. He was slightly mad at the fact that what if Delta team was in trouble. Would they have to wait 16 before any actions were made ? i mean JEEEZZZ. Rand was getting impatience. He started playing with a bullet from his gun.

Jacob's comm link flared and a message prejected throught the deserted hallway. A gruff voice came over the comm, it was Jacob's old squad leader. "Book, is that you?" Astonished, Jacob replied hastily. "Sarge, how the hell did you get this private channel?" The sarges voice seemed to be strained and weak. "Look there is time for explanation later, right now I am telling you not to go down into the labs. Let another team go down, do NOT put your team at ri-" The message cut out to static and then nothing. Thinking forf a minute, Jacob made up his mind that his team was going down there and nothing would stop them.

Simon was ready for action. He needed something to happen or he was going to explode. He had a feeling in his gut that something big was about to happen and he couldn't wait.

He was on his way to God only knows and saw some Delta members waiting at the elevator. He didn't know what to say to them because he was an Alpha member so he just said hi.

He barley heard the radio convo " great " He passed aroudn then got closer to Lt. " um sir so we continueing as planneD ?" He said eagerly.

((Umm... how did you hear that? It was on a private Comm channel. I'm not even in the same room anymore. I was about six rooms away in the hall.))

-Trans-comm- "All Delta Hazmat, please report to the elevator leading down to the Lab. ETA till mission start is ten minutes. I repeat all Delta Hazmat, please report to the elevator. Make me proud boys. Over and Out."

Jacob took in a deep breath and secured his firearm in it's holster. Making his way back into the main recreation room and over towards the elevator. Once actually stepping onto the elevator, he turned around to face his squad. "All right Delta, form up! Once we are in the lab we will split the squad. Three under my command and three under Miss. Wu. When we are down there I want your safeties on and I only want you to fire when it is a last resort. Failure to do so will have you immediately sent topside." Jacob then stood in the elevator and waited for his team.

Al checked his 9mm. He had brought 4 clips, but probably only needed one. Al pulled a bullet out of one of the clips, and started twirling it though his fingers. After a minute of messing with the bullet, it slipped out of his fingers. He watched it fall to the ground, and bounce around. It landed on its back, and sat up straight.
"Well that has to be a bad sign," Al muttered as a chill went down his spine.

As Rachel was merely standing nonchalantly, almost as if her mind hadn't a single care in the world a brief sonant static sounded through her communications system, following almost instantaneously by a voice apparently informing them of their orders. It was Lieutanent Book. His instructions were simple and straight to the point and she listened attentively.

As soon as the transmission ended, Rachel immediately walked towards her destination: the elevator, where Jacob had already been anticipating the Delta squad. On her way, she made certain that the pistol she had received prior to her arrival was fastened tightly and on safety as per the Lieutenant's commands, all while passing the simple tables, vending machines, and other assorted tools of the dull room. Stepping onto the elevator platform, Rachel felt like a pool of utter cold calm simply awaiting and ready to begin their mission.

"I'm ready to roll, sir. I'll do my best and make sure my portion of the team does the same", she stated assuredly. This would be her first assignment with this group of individuals, so she unquestionably wanted all things to go according to plan. With her hands clasped behind her back in a formal position, she waited on the elevator that would provide as their means of conveyance to the areas below for the rest of the squad to arrive.

(Do we have our extra items already?)

Marlon began to mumble quietly about the safety. Now this is really starting to bore his brains out but, this was the right thing to do, safety first, no need going off and shooting your own allies by accident.

He lined up with the squad and stood at attention again and quickly moved into the elevator calmly. He knows if he does something dumb here, it would most likely be his first and last mistake with this team.

((Yes))

"Alright, I will lay down the team statistics. Summers, Frost, and Shark, You are all with me! Everyone else is under the command of Corporal Wu! Anyone who has objections to this can shove them up there ass because what I say goes!" Jacob grinned from the inside of hsi mask and stood at attention waiting for the others.

Nikka's head shot up as she heard the fuzze transmission from Lt. Book. As he spoke, she eyed her destination. Another elevator. Soemthing about it forced a chill down her spine. This whole situation was a bit nerveracking. Sighing, she began to walk over. checking her clip, Nikka fished around in her suit to keep all things ready and accessable on the way over. She took a moment to look around as she stopped before the elevator. She felt a bit anxious, and cursed under her breath. Letting her eyes fall shut she nipped at her lower lip, and silently pleaded. If there was a time for telepathy to work....it was now.
God damnit Derek. Where are you?

At that moment, it semmed, her prayers were answered. The pager once more sprang to life, and Nikka fumbled around clumsily in her hazmat suit to console it. As she pulled it out she figered the screen gently, and read the message.

just outside the building. On my way up.
-Derek

Thank god.
" Sergeant shark is on his way up sir...1 "
Nikka piped in.

" alright time to finally do this ! >=3 " Rand was ready to get started. But he didnt know who he was ganna be teamed with since Lt. Jacob took his choice. HE noticed the late person. " hm" He had no perceptionon how long they waited but he was sure ready to get going. Of course he remembered what Lt.Jacob said "why are you so eager to do a 3 week clean up job ?" He thought about it for a moment. " well better than banging my head agiasnt a wall in bordom". He thought

While waiting a small smirk came across Marlon's face, he still had two big weapons in his arsenal... other than his fist. he kept two electric charged nightsticks, so either way he get to beat something senselessly.

The idea excited him so much he began humming to the tune of an old song by the jackson five, 'blame it on the boogie.' Soon before he knew it he was singing it quietly through his com link.

"don't blame it on the sunshine, don't blame it on the moonlight, don't blame it on the good times, blame it on the boogie..."

He heard a little static and stopped embarassed.

"is my com link still on?"

((Is that everyone?))

Jacob was ready to push the elevators main breaker and allow it to head down into the labs. A feeling of doubt crossed his mind, so to satiate it he did a pleliminary check on all of his troops. "Is everyone here!? If you are on the elevator and are ready to get to work then say 'Green light!'"

((Tired of waiting for a reply.. so))

Jacob decided it was best to just start the mission so they could hurry up and get the job done faster. His armored finger slid across the sleek red button and slowly pressed it. Now the a small panel opened up and Jaco bstart to press varios buttons and flip switches up until a small breaker appeared. Pulling it out and then up made the elevator start to descend. With ALL the members of Delta on board, he had a feeling that the mission would not take the alloted three weeks. A feeling a calm passed his mind. It was good to start the mssion and feel like he was doing something.. anything to take his mind off the horrers that he had witnessed at earlier hazmat missions. "Let's kick some contaminated ass!" He began to laugh but stopped when he remembered the call he had recieved. In the depths of his MIND he thought to himself. "At least no one heard those orders.. and I can assure myself no one else will."

Soon after Rachel and the others had established their positions on the elevator, not wanting to waste a moment, Lieutenant Book had prepared to make their declination to the mission. Standing next to the Lieutenant, she watched silently as he fiddled with the controls using his hands and engaged the breaker. There was a quick, sharp whine as it activated and Rachel could almost feel the platform lowering.

After he finished speaking, "Sir", she said holding her reposeful voice as she nodded in concurrence, her radiant, smooth face would be almost expressionless in the light had she not had a slight smile on.

As she was there beside him, the alluring and attentive Corporal regarding Jacob with her typically calm and controlled demeanor. There was something reassuring about Lieutenant Book, a sense of command and, even more than that, of concern. To Rachel, he had a way of silently assuring all those around him that things would work out as they were supposed to.

Rachel turned her head from him to the steel elevator door directly in front of her. Her eyes were bright with readiness and determination. "Here we go...".

Gotham glanced up with his seemingly unnecessary work on his hand to watch Delta's descent into the depths of the facility. He had started to wonder what was waiting for them down there, the blood stains on the elevator giving him doubts. This mission was anything but routine, and Gotham knew it. Should Alpha have to follow them, it may lead both squads down Charlie's path, which had been rather mysterious. The absence of Delta had cut the company down significantly, and now only the members of Alpha- his crew- were there.

Simon walked up to his teammate, Gotham, who was looking as restless as he felt. "This may be a stupid question, considering the look on your face," he said, "But are you as ready as I am to get out into the field?"

Gotham looked up at the man. "That depends on what you mean by ready... I can kill what I have to. But I don't like to kill, though that's what I am. A killing machine, that's all I can be called. I'm sure you're not interested in that, though. Think you're ready?"

"If I wasn't do you think I'd be hear right now," Simon asked. "You do know that we're teammates since we were both left here. So your Alpha rank is...?"

"Sometimes, situations are just illusions of doubt, denial of reality." he replied to the first comment. "I'm a Brigadier General, if rank matters to you now. What about you?"
