I use my college computer, which connects via the college's server. Or something. Don't know what it is, but it's not bad.

If you posistion your cursor over the bottom left-hand corner, the pics of the 2 screens, it should show you the info

My connection doesn't have that pic...

What version of Windows do you have?

XP, so it would be bottom right., but my new connection simply doesn;t have it like the old one did; makes disconnecting a pain.

Yes, I meant the bottom right, still don't know left from right. So it's the one you hold your knife in.

Also when the connection set itself up it tried to route my mail server though my LAN instead of my modem. D'uh!

I'm on cable with Blueyonder. Whats all this talk about disconnecting, I gave that up months ago, its a bad habit.
