As long as people are flawed, their systems (eg, political, religious, scientific) will be flawed, even if a system gets replaced by an upgrade. In time, its flaws will become apparent too.
The good news is, we are trying to make things better, even if it is 10 steps forward, 8 steps back.

It's about the folks who believe in allowing disease and suffering b/c of previous lives, check out the kind of living conditions, when people think like that, there is no deterring of crime, murder, disease or poverty...and I don't mean the 'USA' version of poverty, I mean REAL poverty.
