Project Chronos [RP]!

"Are you sure? That is impossible! It simply can not be! You are misstaking! What? Photos? Video? Voices? Computer match? Alright, you got me convinced. This is still impossible, though. How would this be....

... Unless....... Alright, call in the members of the squad. We have to act quickly. Things can be a lot worse than we have suspected. This is no regular threat from regular foes. What do you mean? No, do not touch him! Keep him traced however, as we can not afford to loose him!

Activate the Swat team? Are you crazy? They would go into a certain death! This requires... the best!"

General Gregory Smith turned around as he deactivated the communication. He shook his head and leaned against the controlpanel. He slowly raised his head and with a whispering, yet commanding voice spoke.

"Activate Project Chronos! We need to move quickly!"

"Roger that!"

Lt. John Fox ran of into the hallway, dialing a number on his cellphone. As the call was recieved, he told the whole story to the man on the other line. About what threat that waited for the world and what had to be done. After giving his approval, Project Chronos was put in action.

A message where sent out to all the members of the premade squad and even though the squad knew it was being assembled, they did not know why. The Project Chronos squad, a squad that would be fighting the clock and the largest threat of the world so far.

The best was called for and it was done right away. A group of military was sent to each different adress that the soldiers were located at, with friendly intentions to bring them in.

[Basicly what just happened, was that the threat was verified and that the special force group was activated (You guys)
A group of military soldiers was therefore now sent to each and every one of you to bring you to the headquarters. You have all been deployed at different appartments spread all over Washington and will be picked up by the military. They will be using the codeword "Project Chronos" upon encounter. You do not know more about the mission other than the fact that you are forming the greatest special force in the world.

How you get picked up, how you will react, how the soldiers will treat you, in what kind of veichle and that kind of things are all up to you, as long as you follow the final step. You will all be transported to a military warehouse a couple of miles outside town. You can arrive there in your very first post if you like.

This does not go for Android217 [Richard Garrison] but I will PM with more details for him, as he will be recruited by the bad guys 😈 ]

Andrea was putting the last of her groceries away when she heard a knock on the door. When she opened it she was met with a sight which made her want to close the door, she was feeling lazy today and didnt feel like messing with military pricks.

"What is it?" she finally asked irritated with their silence and the fact they are bothering her.

One guy stepped towards her "Project Chronos" he stated looking at her as if expecting for her to know what that meant, which she did. She straightened up at what he had said, she knew it had to be serious if they were bringing them together. The guy seemed satisfied with her reply and they headed out as if expecting for her to follow. She sighed as she remembered that she had just bought groceries, she quickly ran back in and grabbed a box of strawberry pocky and ran after the military guys.

Andrea got into one of the many black cars and sat next to the guy that had stepped forward, which she guessed to be the leader. She gave him a look that had said 'I dont like you' as she bit down on a pocky stick. She looked out her window after finally deciding that the man had enough of her glaring while eating pocky, she watched as they drove by the park on their way to HeadQuarters to find out what is going on.

Yesterday had been the anniversary to her friend, Tina's death, she had visited Tina's parents but they were never too happy to see her, they had always blamed her for what had heppened to Tina, but she never let it bother her, she just paid her respects and left like one of her explosives were about to go off.

Andrea sighed as she knew they were nearing HQ, she stuffed another pocky stick in her mouth as she felt nervous, she kept thinking as to why the 'chronies' as she called them, were being summoned. Her nervousness soon became a smirk, she only hoped she could blow the living hell out of some things in the meanwhile.

(Most of my post is about the night before being picked up, and is pretty damn irrelevant and extremely long and drawn out. I just had too much time of my hands, lol).

The light in the sky was gone, and stars were sprinkled all over the darkened firmament, a wash of silver specks nestled against the black. The ambient glow cast by the lighting of the city and Mary's car provided illumination. She drove through the streets of Washington, a beautiful place she hadn't been to in a long while. She released her foot off the gas pedal as the light turned red, while waiting for it to turn green, she had been thinking of how it felt to be back in the United States. Mary paused a moment longer than she should have, thinking the matter through as she said to herself, "...It's been nearly two yea--", but before she could even finish speaking a sound resonated from behind her. It was a car horn, attempting to inform her that the light was now green.

After a continued drive, she eventually arrived at what seemed to be an apartment complex. The buildings here were of stone and many other materials, with rounded rooflines and bland colors. It wasn't so much different from where she was used to residing. "I suppose this is my 'home, sweet home'", she said to herself after slowly exiting her car.

Once inside, she found herself in almost complete darkness. She stumbled around to find the light switch, and as she flicked it up light emanated from the fixtures above, brightening the space inside. It was what she expected - moderately normal. Despite not being there for more than a few seconds, she was already comfortable with her surroundings. Moving around was something she was used to and for her type of missions, she had to be able to adapt quickly.

Her first course of action was, of course, to put her suitcases down and fix herself a drink. Mary had been extremely tired by this point, but she had always been taught by her family that alcohol "soothes the soul". She took a seat in a rather uncomfortable chair directly in front of a marvelous, but small glass table. Reaching into her bag, she pulled out a small bottle of liquor - it was tequila, more specifically Patrón, as well as a glass, which she placed in front of her. As she watched the amber liquid pour in, she thought to herself what exactly they were called in for. "An elite squad, said to be of the best soldiers in the world. What exactly could be so endangering that they need us now?", Mary asked herself, sipping the tequila.

After pondering upon this for half an hour, she decided it would be best to get some rest. With the alcohol already taking effect, she moved to another section of the apartment and laid down. She fell asleep almost instantly, despite the fact all her clothes were still on - shoes included; simply awaiting the next day.

The sun was up, giving the coal like room an amber glow. Mary was still sound asleep when a sound almost akin to a buzzer went off. She awoke almost nigh immediately with a horrible taste in her mouth from the alcohol she consumed the night before. As an elite agent, Mary always had to be prepared to move in a moment's notice. She went to the door to answer it where a couple of men stood there. Almost instantaneously, one of the men said "Project Chronos" without any after words. "So, then, I would suppose you're here to --", without being able to complete her inquiry, the man who spoke grabbed her forearm in a somewhat brash manner. "Orders are for you to come with us", he said pulling her out of the doorway and towards a black SUV with tinted windows.

Mary was thrown slightly off guard by their actions as she expected them to be more cordial, but she had figured that this is just their specific way of carrying out orders.

As she entered the backseat of the vehicle, her body pressed against the leather interior. The inside was fairly standard with a few specially made modifications. "I would've thought you military men would've learned some manners by now. I guess some thing never change", Mary said jokingly. Neither of the men responded promptly, to which she simply smiled. As they began their journey to their destination, the man in the passenger's side informed her on some of the details of where they'd be arriving.

Mary simply listened to him speak, he didn't reveal much information, other than that it the warehouse was "some miles past the outskirts of the city". She folded her arms, merely thinking of what was to come of this.

After a moderately short lived time of thought and car ride, they reached their apparent meeting place.

Rose stood in her bathroom, toweling off her hair as she heard a loud rapping on her door. Drops of water slid of her tones, golden body and fell to the floor from ehr shower a few moments ago. Poking her head out the bathroom door, Rose called otu;

" Just a min- "

She was interrupted by the door being pushed open, and a squad of Marines forcing in - M 1s in hand - and positioning themselves accordingly. The words that exited their leader's mouth echoed in the back of her mind.
'Project Chronos'
It had begun.

When they noted her state, the men forced their eyes to the ground, all mumbling apologies. Their leader grunted an ' I'm sorry. ' to which the rest of them nodded. Rose smiled sheepishly and darted into her room, changing into a black tank top and camo cargo pants in less than a minute. She pulled her dog tags over her head, and grabbed the back pack filled with the few things authorised for her to bring. By the time she stepepd out of her room, golden blonde hair - still dripping - in a tight ponytail, most of the men had regained their composure. The Leader still seemed flushed.

As they led her out to the jeep, he explained that his entrance was neccesary, because they wanted a report on how one of members, a pilot none the less, kept in their natural state. rose ahd grinned and responded to this by asking if 'Wet and Naked ' fit the standards. The squad laughed, save the still-up-tight leader who seemed to be grimacing beneath his driver as he drove the jeep. Finally, after a 40 minute drive, they arrived at a large, grey institution. Excitment ran heavily through Roses vains, but also a bit of nerves. She had a feeling this mission would be something new to her, and she knew better than anyone that where Experience lacks, danger fills it's place.

As the car pulled to a stop, Rose closed her eyes, and drew in a deep breath. one of the marines touched her arm.

" Time to go. "
" Right. "

On the way out, the marines reached forward and patted her back, giving her a boost of confidence. she turned, smiled, and rendered a salute to the squad, and turned as they too rendered and cut their own. As she walked toward the doors of the building, Rose wondered just what she would be doing on this mission. She looked down at the scrap of paper the Marine leader had pushed into her hands. It read '2-204'. The room number she was supposed to head into.

The warehouse was dank, and seemed old. As she pushed open the door, a long corrider, and a stairwell to her right, hit her eyesite. Taking the stairs, she climed steadily to the 2nd floor, where she walked down another hallway past '2-103'. There was one door left, and it had no number. Cockign her head, Rose wondered if she could be mistaken. Taking another dep breath she pushed open the door, and stepped inside the room. To her releif a conference table had been set up, so she stood behind one of the seats in the front of the room.

Richard ducked with three freedom fighters behind a small wall in a church steeple. The sound of an Abrams tank rolling by. He made a three with his fingers. Then a two, and following a one. Richard and the freedom fighters lifted up. Only one had an RPG, but Richard thought it could destroy the Abrams with a lucky shot. Apparently he was wrong. The RPG flew around the tank, and into a building. The tank lifted its barrel up, facing the steeple.

"Down Down Down!" Richard yelled. Richard had started to climb down the ladder, when the tank fired into the steeple. The explosion knocked Richard down the ladder, and onto his back. The rubble from the top of the steeple fell towards Richard. He attempted to roll over, but only made it half way before the rubble had fallen onto his leg. He struggled to reach for his gun, which too, was underneath the rubble. The sound of heavy pounding feet could be heard outside the ruined church.

Richard grabbed his 9mm out of his holster, and waited. A soldier with an m16 charged into the room.
"Oh sh-," The soldier was cut off by a series of gun shots. Two shots had hit his armor, and one hit his throat. But the soldier had managed to get an burst shot at Richard. Luckily the shots hit his armor, but pierced it barely. He pulled his leg out of the rubble, and started out of the steeple. The Abrams was waiting outside. The fifty cal. gunner was waiting for him.

Richard ducked and ran as the gunfire followed him. He ran into a city street alley, and hid behind old crates that had been abandoned. The tank driver was not fooled by him running into the alley, and stopped right by it. The fifty cal. started up again on the crates tearing them apart. Suddenly, Richard heard a loud explosion. He looked to see the Abrams in ruins.

Jacob's eyesight blurred as the ceiling flashed before his eyes. Before he knew it he was on the ground and the room was spinning. Sounds seemed to be amplified and a slight ringing was in his right ear. As he laid there he could hear cheering and someone started to speak.

Announcer-"Looks like Book may be down for the count this round! The ref has begun counting! This amy be it for the champ!"

Referee-"Ten.. Nine.. Eight.. Seven.."

Jacob started to force himself to his feat. As he wiped the sweat from his forehead, he felt a trickle of blood run down his face from up around his right brow. The look on his face turned from a lost and confused look to slick grin as he started moving around again.

Announcer-"Looks like this isn't the end!"

Referee-"Alright get in there and keep it clean!"

Jacob slid to right as the other fighter sent a low jab trying to make him lose balance. Now with the opportunity of a hard hit, he swung with a right upper cut and was satisfied when he felt the hit make contact. The other fighter flew back and landed on his stomach. The ref walked over and counted down from ten.

Referee-"Looks like we have a new winner, ladies and gentlemen!!"

The red held his arm up in the air and after a few minutes of the crowds admiration, Jacob went into the back of the bar and found his clothes. After getting dressed and have his wounds dressed, he swung by the main office and retrieved his prize money.

Soldier-"Mr. Book, we-"

Jacob-"I don't sign autographs, sorry."

Now frustrated the soldier walked in front of him. "Project Chronos."

Jacob's eyes widened and he instantly knew why they were there. "Alright I will go with you." The soldiers loaded him into a car and drove off. After a while of dull silence and driving, they arrived at an old warehouse were Jacob exited the vehicle and ventured inside. "Door's been opened so someone else is here..." He followed a set of instruction and headed upstairs to a room labeled "@-204." After a minute or two or searching he found the room he was looking for and ventured inside.

"Richard Garrison? We are going to talk!"

A man clad in a white, shiny armament walked around the corner with a longbow in his hand. On his back was a quiver of arrows. At his waist was a long sword and on his back was an attached shield. His head was covered by a metal helmet and only his eyes were visible. He walked with steady steps into the alley, staring at Richard. In one quick motion, he turned around and launched an arrow with his bow. The arrow went straight into a hostile soldier, blowing him into pieces.

"Explosive arrows! Handy! Now, Richard. My name is Alex Trivia, but I prefere Alexander the Great. I have a business proposition for you and I think you might like it. If you think I am dangerous, you are right. Now, how do you want this? The easy, or the hard way? Because we will talk"

Alex grinned at Richard as he put the bow to the side. He watched the man and waited for him to make the first move or the first comment.

"Alex Trivia, the sick bastard! The twisted scum! It is not possible! He is not supposed to be alive! This is BAD!"

"You are right, sir. We burried him 10 years ago. However, it is him. We have even gotten a DNA sample that matches."

"This is getting spooky, sir! He is not the only one long gone, that we have seen around. I will brief you as soon as......"

"They have started arriving, sir"

A voice came in and interrupted the conversation. Lt. John Fox nodded as he exited the room, followed by a few others. He walked trough the hallway and saw some of the people out trough the mirror-window. He nodded as he recognized their faces. With a serious look on his face, he entered the conference room together with a couple of armed soldiers. He walked into the room, ignoring the ones that was alread there and walked to the opposite side. He sat down in the chair at the far end, with the whiteboard behind him. The four soldiers that had acompanied him stood in one corner each of the squared room.

"No need for formalities until everyone is here. I apologize if the ride here was rough, so sit down and relaxe, talk or whatever until the rest arrives"

He avoided mentioning anything about Project Chronos until most had arrived and had a seat. There was enough for everyone. He did not want to leave anyone behind when it came to walking trough the situation. Every detail could be of highest importance, as they were going to fight the clock.

As they were going to fight as 'Project Chronos'

Richard holstered his pistol. The man had saved his life, and obliviously could take it away from him.
"If you wanted me for some kinda merc work, you wouldn't have spent the time to find my name. So I'm guessing this is a big deal," Richard glared into the cold eyes of Alex."I'm also guessing if I turn it down, I'll be missing for a while."

"This is no children play at hand. The time has come to redeem the world from its sins. A time for a new order. There is no time to be selfish. If you are willing to change the world, then you come with me. The pay will be great and more importantly, mankind will be going towards a better place. If you decide to decline this offer, I am afraid your safety back home is not guaranteed"

Alex walked up to Richard and put his hand over the shoulder. As he put his hand over the shoulder, a number of shots was heard along with an explosion. The powerful sound of a chopper machinegun pierced the air, clearing the road from all soldiers. It did not matter which side the soldiers were on, as it was cleared of all. The chopper stayed above the rooftops for a short while, before it slowly landed in front of the alley.

"In or out? If you are in, enter the chopper and come with me, for more information. If you are out, may Ares guide you trough the final hours of your life"

"Hours?" Richard's voice cracked. He followed Alex to the chopper. "I'm in. So what will I be handling? S.W.A.T.? FBI, CIA? Or these military idiots over here? **NO REFERENCE TO OUR BOYS AND GIRLS IN IRAQ YALL JUST IN CHARACTER**" Richard stepped up onto the helicopter, and sat in one of the seats.

"All of them and more, probably! My mistress and her legion of men and women does not take the most popular route to salvation! You will be rewarded with financial independence. You have an impressive past and I hope you are as good as it says!"

Alex spoke in an ice cold voice as he sat down in the chopper, putting sword and bow away. He stared blankly at Richard for a while and then closed his eyes calmly. He crossed his arms and leaned back. There was an hour of chopper flight in front of them and he hated flying. He hated all modern technology.

"Aut vincere aut mori, Richard! I have faith in you. Do not let me down!"

andrew was , not surprisingly, on point..it was the job he was best at, and there was no alternative...not that this bothered him..andrew loved this job..he honestly thought that if he were discharged, he would kill himself instantly..there was nothing else that was so tense..
a tenseness that was shattered so quickly it was unbelievable..his mobile phone rang, right when he was stalking two terrorist types...the jumped around straight away, nasty looking rifles pointing at them.."oh bull***t" he exclaimed.."this was turned of for f***s sake" he put his ear to the receiver, ignoring for now the barrels pointing at his face..."who the f***ing hell is this?"
"help is coming, sit tight" a man's voice answered gruffly
"you havent answered my question"
"this is for project chronos"
this made andrew stop dead..he thought such a reason for the team was impossible, but.."anything to get me out of this..can you hurry"
"no worries" the voice replied and the line became dead..suddenly a massive explosion came from the front door, knocking it off its hinges and smacking the two terrorist down like a fly swatter..lots of shouting and gunfire came from the remains of the front doorway.."am i really worth this?" andrew asked himself, getting up and backstabbing another terrorist with his knives..
"you brok?" and voice shouted from the dorrway
"thats me" i shouted back
"come on, hurry up, we have to bring you in ASAP"
"righto" andrew ran for the door, and was ushered into a van by his rescuers..after many hours of van and chopper rides, andrew was sitting with the others.."Lt." he greeted before he sat..

Billy was playing at a piano bar doing some slow songs when military soldiers soon entered. This quickly caught Billy's attention but he continued playing. Finally he finished the song and walked over to the soldiers.

"William Joel?" the soldier asked.

"I actually prefer Billy Joel," Joel replied.

"You are needed for something top secret," the soldier said and quickly lowered the tone of his voice, "project chronos." And with that he returned talking to his normal tone. "We need you to come with us A SAP."

"...did you just call me a sap?" Billy asked. (Had to)

"A SAP, as soon as possible." the soldier answered.

"You're the sap!" Billy shouted. Billy went with the soldiers and got into the truck and drove off to where they were headed to for Project Chronos. Billy was a little nervous haven't been called in for a while but was willing to serve his country.

"Project Cronos." It was the first words Tim had heard in a week from a real person, aside from the spanish speaking made and the all to friendly room service guy. "Project Cronos..." The man repeated, with a sigh.
"Project...wha-oh...I'll be right there..." Tim finished. He ran through his room, yelling profanities as he dug around looking for clothes. He came out after a few minutes, suited up. "Ready." He said with a smirk on his face.
"Alright, let's move. We're already late..." The head of the small group said. Tim nodded and followed them to the vehicle. It was a twenty minute drive and it seemed long as little conversation carried on through the ride. Finally the Sgt. Spoke. "So...you're a pilot? Why not be a recon man. You not a fan of rifles? Ever handled one before?"
"Yes. I have." Tim replied, he'd heard the generic questionnaire before and hated it. "I tried your line of work, but I was made to be a pilot." The Sgt. Didn't speak the rest of the trip nor did anyone else until they reached the warehouse.
"Here's where you get off Mr...Connolly." The Sgt. stated in a firm, in command tone. Tim laughed and got out of the vehicle. Looking at the entrance to the room. He opened the door to the conference room and looked around. "Um...Hi"

Richard hadn't talked most of the time on the helicopter. He felt a slight sting in his chest. Richard unstrapped his body armor, and saw that the soldiers bullets had gotten through his armor. The tip of each had gotten into his skin.
"That close to killin me!" Richard exclaimed."I suppose you will supply me with new gear, weapons, and some your mistresses soldiers. I can't take em all down myself." Richard smirked.

"You will live!"

Alex rolled his eyes and looked over at Richard. He knew Richard was worth the trouble, but come on. How much would Alex have to put up with? He forced a smile on his face as he turned in Richard's direction.

"Let me rephrase the part where I said 'financial independence'. We will supply you with anything you can possibly need that is able to be bought by money. That includes human resources, gear, veichle, weapon and everything else to it. We will also provide the best kind of transport that money can buy, but concerning the soldiers, do not build up conclusions.
Mistress may be in charge, but it is I and the other fellow officers of this deal that bring you the units. We all have our areas of expertise, so let me walk it trough with you"

Alex smiled and started walking trough himself and three other officers of the group.

Lt. John Fox cleared his throat and stood up. He activated the overhead behind him and took some pictures out of his pocket. He looked out over the group.

"Welcome, everyone! Project Chronos has been activated! I will be direct, as we are fighting the clock, as you might know.

You all probably know that Chronos was the God of time and we sure pray he is with us now.

You have all been selected to fight as the most powerful elite squad in the world. Your varity of skill will cover all possible areas that is needed to fullfill what any special force can wish for. We have stealth, we have long distance, we have short distance and we have heavy assault units. We got it all. Now, to the actual threat. There are four names you shall remember.

Alex Trivia!

He is the latest spotted soldier of our threat. Some of you might have heard him, while others have not. Either way, he was one of the greatest terrorists that we have had the missfortune of stumbling over. He is smart, he is strong, he is relentless and he is..... one sick bastard.

We stopped him 10 years ago, when he tried putting his evil plan to use. Alex was the leader of a terrorist organization that wished to send the modern society back into the dark ages. Back to the time where knights and sword was the way of warfare. He believe that humanity have turned into a lost cause and he consider himself the redeemer. The crusader of modern time and the loyal servant of Ares, the God of war in ancient greek mythology. He is sick, he is dangerous and he is clad in a metal armor.

Now to the creepy part. 10 years ago, when he was at his closest, we stopped him. A shot at point-blank prevented him from launching the world largest EMP. Right in the head. Shortly followed by a heavy gunfire between the two sides. Believe me when I say that Alex had more holes than a net. How he returned, we do not know. We do know it is him, as we have voice, look and DNA match. His organization is dangerous, as they are a number of close-combat specialists. They work with medieval gear and I can not believe they are following him. They pick bow over gun and sword over knife. They pick metal and chains before kevlar and horse over car.

Andrea Galacta!

Short tempered girl and most likely the least dangerous of the four that will be mentioned. Her speciality is heavy weaponry and explosives. She a couple of years ago threatened to blow up all major cities of the united states if she did not get all the military information about their weapons and bombs. The whole scenario was complicated, but in short, she never pulled the trigger. She disappeared, however in the past she have threatened with bombs and heavy guns a number of times and she has enough knowledge to pull trough with it. She just have never gone all the way trough.

Until now. She was seen blowing a bank into pieces a couple of days ago, walking in and picking one specific box, then walking out again, leaving all the money. We have a picture where she has been spotted together with the other three. Alex, her and the two others that I will now come to.

Numa Ogama!

She suffer from megalomania, bigtime. She threatened to bring Russia and USA to a fall simply because no one else has ever been close. She is egocentrical and the second most dangerous foe that we will face. She works alone, with the most advance technology the world has ever seen. What she does with Alex I do not know, as they are sworn enemies. Their causes are entirely reversed to eachother. She is rumored to have a number of scientists working on her behalf, but nothing that has ever been proven. Anyway, she got shot. A single shot took her down, with a sniper rifle. She was burried in USA military ground.

She is now back, spotted together with Andrea, Alex and.......

Linda Wasser!

A former russian agent. Most likely the most dangerous of the four. She was the top agent in Germany, until she was recruited by the Navy Seal. Being the first woman to ever come in and complete it, she was the best. Her areas of expertise includes everything. She was the best soldier the US Army had ever seen, until the day of desertion. Unfortunatly, an accident occured in one of her missions. They were ambushed by another special squad of the US, who believed they were terrorists. The entire event is complicated, as they were on the same location for different reasons, the two groups. The only survivor in both groups, was Linda. She believes in the faith of a group and if you ever encounter her, she will most likely have a few elite soldiers, different from the others. Andrea and Alex both loves numbers. Numa works alone and Linda works strategical.
She has a sworn vendetta to the united nations. She have messed with uncountable special missions on the behalf of US, Great brittain, France and many more.

Now to the point. She has been spotted and photographed with the other three. The reason that we did not move in, was because none of them are in charge. We are facing the world greatest thread, people. And we do not even know what. What we do know, is that four of the world most dangerous terrorists, are working for someone else. Together, despite their differences."

Lt. John Fox took a deep breath.

"Comments? Questions before I continue?"

"Yeah I have a question," Billy said kind of raising his hand. "Do we actually stand a chance to take down there four or are we just here to try to slow them down for something else?"

"It is not up to me. I am merely the messenger of a greater cause. They are good, but so is our opposition and so are you. Rumors speak of a secret special force, putting itself together trough the shadows of the world. If the rumors are true, things will not go as easy as planned.

Especially since we will pretty much have every nation in the world chasing us."

Alex grinned as he leaned back and looked at Richard again. He was pleased by the fact that Richard has not backed out yet. Most would, even if it would have been risking their lives. He would become of more use than he himself expected. Alex was not sure if Richard had seen his full potentials yet, though. He was a talented man and with their gear, he would be a greater soldier.

"You are the best hope we got against these men. You are not called the best for nothing. I will not lie, as for a starter you will be stalling them. You will be sent at locations where they will most likely strike or reside at. You will encounter these foes and if you are as good as these papers say, you will be of success.

But we can not make a final blow against these four until we found out who they work for and why they suddenly work together. We will have to work strategicaly, but we can very well pull this trough.
