The Man of Tomorrow
DarkCrawler’s Amalgam Tourney – Amalgams and Matchups
Little bit of groundwork first – rules of the tourney/battles:
1) "No Loopholes" rule is in effect.
2) Each of the individual characters in your amalgam MUST be under Thanos in power level. Your combined Amalgam on the other hand can be powerful up to the likes of PC Validus. Go wild, I want to see some creative thinking here that ends up in powerful amalgams.
3) The following abilities are banned:
Multiplying
Power Absorbing (You can't have Rogue's powers for example)
Reality Warping
Time Manipulation
Matter manipulation directly on opponent
Adaptating on attacks (etc. Doomsday/Darwin)
Unkillable characters - characters who can't simply be killed in any way (etc. Elders of the Universe)
BFR - Battlefield removal on other character through teleportation and other similar stuff.
Mind-control
4) Preptime for your characters before each battle is fifteen minutes. You can do pretty much anything during preptime besides spying on the other team.
5) Your character can create three independent constructs (etc. robots) during prep time. These constructs must be no more powerful then Iron Man (pre-Extremis) in power and formidability.
6) The Prep Environment for everyone will be the same - an empty Empire State Building floating in endless void - use it as you want during your fifteen minutes of prep before each battle...
7) Before each battle, you are given a general knowledge of your opponents capablities.
Before each match, the participators in the matches will PM me a writeup where they have written their general strategy against their opponent, and I will post them in the opening of the match. Then the real debate will ensue (you have few days to debate and get your points across). After the debate is over, the three judges (Myself, GreEnergy and Master) will vote, using a point system that is outlined here:
Judge 1 Votes:
1. Player A - Spot 1 Gives you 3 Points
2. Player B - Spot 2 Gives you 2
3. Player C - Spot 3 Gives you 1
Judge 2 Votes:
1. Player B
2. Player A
3. Player C
Judge 3 Votes:
1. Player A
2. Player C
3. Player B
Thus, Player A would have 3+2+3 = 8 Points
Player B would have 2+3+1 = 6 Points
Player C would have 1+1+2 = 4 Points
And Player A & B would advance.
