We know that but it doesn't mean much in terms of their story level.

Zexion should be at the bottom, and Lexaus should be higher IMO.

Demyx isn't weak dude, he just dislikes fighting. Gohan from DBZ dislikes fighting, yet he's one of the strongest characters in the series. Zexion usually resorts to tricks and strategies to win. I think Luxord should also be higher, his unique fighting style makes winning against him difficult, in that you need to beat him at one of his time games. Xaldin should be above Xigbar.

Xemnas is by far the strongest

Saïx is definatly second

Roxas being Sora's counterpart means it's a safe bet to put him high, though i don't see him besting Saïx

Marluxia is a clean 4th, though his is defeated by 14 Sora, he was often left in command, hinting he's pretty high up in the power chain

Xigbar, Mainly because he is the only real range specialist and his element can really abuse it well, Space. I often wonder if he is infact Higher than Marluxia, as it was him who bought Marluxia to them.

Zexion is not weak, infact he's lower on that list than he should be, Go check out his fight to see why. May not be a powerhouse like Lexeaus, but with powers like his, doesn't need to be.

He even admits Lexaus is far stronger.

Leaxeaus - Reason he is low is because many of the other members are very fast, Leaxeaus is not, but instead is brutally powerful.

To be honest if i were to do it properly it would look more like this:

Xemnas > Saïx, Roxas, Marluxia, Xigbar, Axel, Xaldin, Larxene, Zexion, Lexeaus, Vexen, Luxord, Demyx

Saïx > Roxas, Marluxia, Xigbar, Axel, Xaldin, Larxene, Zexion, Vexen, Luxord, Demyx

Because there are guys further up on the list who would lose to guys lower down, but i cba to do all that 😛 thats why we have vs 😉
