Well Marciano was a brawler, but he also had under rated defense. He could slip a jab by moving his head side to side or weaving under it. He would be a smaller target as to not be open to any blows. Many of the Rock's foes Walcott, Charles, Moore have commented on how hard it was to nail the Rock.
When Ali did that computer fight with the Rock in 69, even he comment on how amazing Marciano was able to get by his jab.
Marciano was amazing. The greatest boxer in my opinion (and no doubt in the eyes of many others). unbeaten record, one of the hardest blows in boxing history, amazing chin, brutal stamina and determination......all rolled into a small 5"11 frame.
Respect.
oh and by the way, that was 1 ton that he could spot lift with power of his blows (i really don't want to know what that feel like on the face)

Ryu never hardly added any thing new to his moves since SF1.
In SF1 he had the dragon punch, fireball, and the hurrican kick.
Sf2 and up, he had the Dragon Punch, Fireball and Hurrican kick.
SF3 he had the Dragon Punch, Fireball and Hurrican Kick.
Sf4 he have the Dragon punch, fireball and hurrican kick.
Unlike Ken, Ryu never added anything new. Now Ken is always trying new stuff out, like the Hurrican kick in the air, or the double dragon punch, and his fame roll out.
