Graduation numbers

i think by now it is a well known fact that Kanye sold agood deal more albums than 50, but how many? Did grauation go platnuim in the first week? Who has the numbers?

I read that we won't really know until Wednesday.

West's decision to change the album's release date from September 18, 2007 to September 11, 2007 meant that Graduation had the same release date as 50 Cent's Curtis, and the two albums are competing for better sales. 50 Cent claimed that he will stop releasing solo albums if Curtis sold fewer copies than Graduation.[2] However, he would later dispel his comments

I'm not fans of either one.

Being that 50 initiated this whole thing, I was rooting for his demise.

That said, I hate Kanye. So it's a win win either way I guess. It's just that 50 not making anymore albums and suffering public humiliation (like he did on 106 & Park Last week) is the greater win.
