freedom to choose

freedom to choose, but what if your choices have consequences you aren't aware of, such as speaking your mind, and then, someone takes money out of your bank account (let's say they work at your bank) b/c they read your words and didn't like it, at that point, that person made it a cost issue, meaning they don't believe in freedom of speech, they can't handle it. you may enjoy the freedom to (choose) speech, but someone else may kill over it or hurt another person's job or life over it. i mean, civility is the big picture, but not everyone is living in that world. but, i agree with the idea of choosing and not being a slave or forced or cohersed to think a certain way.

Liberty, hmm.....

Something that is the complete opposite of this stupid country's corrupt government and police force.

Some form of equality, but at the same time, fairness is put into place. Something like that is my ideal "liberty" description.

Head to China. Things are way better over there.

You mean you were wrong.

Liberty is a synonym for freedom.

And would you still stay within the boundary of the laws if your country was run a muck or out of control, or you didn't agree with it.

Not wearing a seat belt is now against the law. First it was a suggestion, now it's a fine. I think that interferes with my free will.

And who decides what's good for me anyway. Next thing you know unhealthy eating will be against the law....and there goes my french fries.

I'm not a big fan of the weather there. However.....

I wouldn't mind moving to the UK, maybe Canada, or maybe even El Salvador.

In a couple years, it'll be time for change 🙂

You should let me move in with you, so you can show me the ways of your country.

Nah. We don't actually drink tea that much.

If you complain, and don't have that American accent, you'll fit right in.

Will I be made fun of for my nice teeth, and american accent?

what do you consider as "liberty"?

to be free as in freedom to do whatever it takes to survive

world

That's deep. Oh, and apocolyptic too.

Liberty is the illusion that you can do what you want.

I thought that was the illusion of choice.

(I hate The Matrix so very, very much.)

not exactly the same imo.

Because The Matrix was a horrendous movie series?
