I'm undecided, I could actually see prime punching through thanos shield leading to thanos relying more on his true durability against a strength class that he never faced before.

Thanos takes it more often than not. His durability is better than Prime's, IMO, allowing him to take most of what Prime dishes out. He's also more versatile.
