You are WRONG!

No, only SEARGENTS led troops into battle. Any higher ranks stayed behind at the major bases. Don't try to act like you know more about this than me. I am going to be a soldier as soon as I possibly can, which means I've studied. And I'm trying to be in my own company cause it get tiring of everyone following me around but oh well not much I can do about that haha except for reverting back to A company.

You are wrong! Captains led the whole company into battle, and still do. Lieutenants led one of the platoons into battle, and still do. Sergeants only led individual squads, and still do. You are apparently misenformed. And being a soldier when you grow up has NOTHING to do with anything!
Wanting to be soldier means I have more knowledge and training under my belt that you could even imagine.
lol you are generally correct, if you play Brothers in Arms on PS2, X-box, PC, the squads are lead by sargents, but large groups of slodiers required more that seargents. However, watch Saving Private Ryan, The Longest Day, Battle of the Bulge, Band of Brothers, We Were Soldiers, A Bridge Too Far and Kelly's Heroes.Individual squads were led by seargents, platoons were led by lieutenants, companies were led by captains (see opening of SPR where the seargent cusses about the army taking away the captains company.) anyway just though I'd say that... Happy 4th July Jacob, ment to say it earlier. 😊 I've been watching the film Indepedance Day all day. 😄

Not a kid, just getting through all of school haha. If I do live then I want to be able to get a job afterwards, duh. Trust me, I know everything that they want me to know. I follow the books religiously and I follow everything the instructors have to say. They seem to love telling all of their information too. Almost creepy
