I went to Pinkpop yesterday. Started out with From First to Last, another one of those generic rock/metal bands like Silverstein, Funeral for a Friend etc. I went on to see Animal Alpha from Norway. Pretty much the female version of Marilyn Manson, relying more on a gimmick than actually producing good music. Incubus came on after that, who of course always play a tight set, although it seemed to me like it was just routine for them during the first half of the set. They were much more enthusiastic when I saw them last year. After that I headed to see Porcupine Tree, who played a perfect set, even though they looked like a bunch of wooden puppets while doing so. Day 1 was ended by Metallica, who never fail to deliver a great show, completely with fireworks and pyrotechnics.

I've seen Rage Against the Machine yesterday. It was awesome. They were just amazing...they didn't play anything from Renegades, but they had this amazing cover of Clampdown, but yeah, I was quite excited to be able to see them and they did deliver. Tom Morello is so ****ing amazing.
