umm... issues 1-10 dont have wolverine (i have them)... and the x-men are still kids... do you mean something besides uncanny?
Uncanny Xmen was the new genearation of Xmen only PR. Storm Ncrawler, TBird, Col , Wolv and so on. I hav them right here as reference. Wolverine is prominently featured im afraid to inform u. Im at uni at the mo. But im quite willing to get my flatmate to scan in the images if youre so adamant. Its entirely up to u my U.K brutha!!

the only problem is, essential x-men begins at episode 94 or so, which is when the new team takes over. uncanny 1-10 is the old old team, which is beast, angel, cyclops, jean grey (as marvel girl, worst codename ever) and iceman.
the new team really comes together (and fights with the old team) in giant sized x-men #1, which is annoying because without it theres a big jump between 66 (last old team of uncanny) and 94 (new team, old team leaves). the ones in between are reprints.
