No info has been released that Mass Effect will be an PC port, but some PC mags have been seeing rumors that it will.
If we went by how long it took for Bioware to do the same with KoTOR then we will see an PC port by next June. Probably not going to happen though.
Your GeForce 6600 GT probably wont cut it even it was released right now.

Not really, you are limited to basically two sections. Its very much like Kotor, where they give you a planet(or station in the case of the Citadel) but you only get a very small portion to explore.
Id say its smaller than the first planet of Kotor.
But they let you look off a balcony and have your crew talk about how awesome it is. 😂
Yeah, thats probably the biggest disappointment to me. They said you had a huge galaxy to explore, but you can only land on a few of the planets, and the ones you can are very restricted and linear.
After Oblivion I wanted huge open areas to do what I want, but its got basically the same design as Kotor which bothered me back then. But I still think this is better than Oblivion. 😛

Yeah I know, if they did try to make free roaming like GTA/AC/something then it would seriously impact on the RPG elements/story etc. However I can still wish for things can't I?
And it's still a nice size......it has different levels......so it's not all one flat surface.
Anata wa wakarimasu ka.....
I'm glad for the restrictions of the level size.
Mass Effect is more of an cinematic RPG than Oblivion is. Heck, you can make the case that Mass Effect is not an RPG but an hybrid Dues Ex kinda of game.
If it was big as it could be, I would never of finished it. One problem I had with Mass Effect was the amount of driving and walking that I had to do. Very small problem though, but if it was any bigger the game would of taken years to build. The other problem that I found was that the planets didnt really look different. Once you get past the green, red, grey planets with its mine, complex, basement complex and freighter levels everything starts to look the same.
Give me a world that's unique (like Twilight Princess) than an world that is massive.
The story missions on the otherhand are amazing. Last level is a sight to behold in my opinion and whoever complained the graphics sucked ass should play to the last level.
