Really with the sentrys "proposed powerset" he should be to versatile and powerful for supes but it sure is a "proposed powereset" as he has very few good feats to prove anything. With his telepathy that he used to wipe the minds of everyone in the world and make them forget he existed { including strange xavier) he should be able to telepathically incapacitate supes and then finish him off. Unfortunately he is so crazy that he is probably more vulnerable to telepathy than supes is and hence never seems to be able to use his own properly. IMO sentry wins based on powerset but supes wins based on feats and showings

Actually...
The one single, unavoidable fact is, Superman has not only multiple times the amount of legitimate feats, but to every good feat Sentry has, Superman has done better.
I don't really believe these people that say Sentry stalemating Galactus is a bona fide feat, whatever happened to the 'It happens on panel, or it didn't happen at all' philosophy?
Supermans weaknesses are hardly going to be a problem against Sentry. He's not fighting Surfer here, is Sentry going to be able to manipulate and create Kryptonite radiation?
Or is it raining at this fights location, and then raindrops contain Kryptonite inside them?
Or does Sentry carry a peice of Kryptonite in his back pocket, for special occasions when Aliens from an entirely different universe come to fight him?
That would make this a handicap match, and if that was the case, i'd still say Superman wins, simply because not only would the Kryptonite raindrops have to the same elemental composition as the Kryptonite from Superman's universes Krypton, an exact match, but Supermans growing resistance to it means that those raindrops would have to be waterfalls.
And considering Superman has been laying on a beach where each grain of sand is laden with Kryptonite, and had a nuke dropped on it, and survived, shows pretty good resilience to me.
Can Sentry output that kind of power from his fists? He certainly doesnt have the feats to prove it!
The power of a million exploding suns? I'm sure the civilians nearby when Sentry fought the hulk where really impressed with that!

Your post all makes sense except the last part about civilians. You do know the city was evacuated right? Also the fight did more collateral damage than the SupermanPrime / Ion fight, and also more damage than Superman when he got beaten by Henshaw using the ten yellow lantern rings. So Superman got beaten with less collateral damage than Sentry did in his fight against Hulk.

the superman henshaw fight was nowhere near being the same size or significance as the hulk/sentry one...
