How does that have anything to do with equal rights or double standards? It's called being polite. I always hold doors for people regardless of who they are.

Is that too much? In the UK we pay about £1 for a litre, you pay around $2.50 for a gallon... which is four times as much for nearly the same price. Go figure shrug
