School Fundraising Ideas

I was wondering if any of you guys have creative and practical college fundraising ideas to share with a fellow college student here ?

I will be grateful to your contribution.

Sponsored pub crawl. That always gets loads of people invlolved. Say if you all pay £5, or $10 dollars or whatever to enter, then you all go in a big group and drink in as many pubs as are near enough.

i disagree.
the overhead is minimal when considering profit. plus you'll never gain more loyal patrons than in the crack cocaine industry.

I'm not arguing profit potential, as it's high. I am saying he may not have the initial funds to invest in the crack making/selling industry.

Another thing to consider, he'll also run the risk of upsetting already established crack moguls, which could be potentially dangerous. For a college kid like him, needing some quick cash for books, peddling his flesh is safer in the short run.

i think you are overestimating the overhead, considering the minimal amount of cocaine needed to produce a substantial amount of crack. also, you underestimate the dangers of peddling one's ass on what very well could be a pimp's territory.

He also needs the equipment and the know-how to make the crack, if he has the means, then sure, crack is a better option. I'm going on the grounds that he he crack-ignorant.

I thought factored in the pimp-intrusion... I'd rather fend off a pimp than a alpha crack dealer. Though both dangerous, he could as a last resort, employ himself to the pimp, to save himself if need be.

as he could offer a cut of his profits to the local drug lord as tribute.

Car wash: How many people are going to pay one lone dude $10-15 dollars to wah their car?

Cook sale: He has to have the ability to either cook or bake with at least some decent degree; what if he doesn't?

Book sale: Where's he going to get the books to sell; how many can he sell?

Slave day. Or for a more politically correct idea, have a ho-a-thon

Selling candy bars, avon, asking one of the stands at your football/bastketball/sports games to contribute, etc.
