id say they are fairly even
mario's stength is matched by kirby insane "takes-diamond-cutting-lasers" durability, their speed is about the same, but kirby as the advantage of flight...

depends on the form 😬
if he is the snowball form from kirby 64, he can become huge!
but in regular form, he can only become swelled up enough to do his flying thing
