i agree with some post, the show is starting to bore me, that new character from veronica mars is a waste of time...too many plots,i think its good we air our problems we have,it's only because i love the show..but i can only take so much
I love the idea of powers evolving..more of this please...please

To me it wasn't a break from character - it was pretty obvious from the beginning that she was muscle, and not someone in charge.In fact, it was very similar to the relationship between Claire and HRG - sometimes Claire is completely bad-ass, but when her daddy talks she still listens (mostly).
So for me it wasn't a break from character - in fact, just the opposite: I thought that small scene actually ADDED to the depth of her character, revealing quite a lot about her.
