what job in entertainment do you want
I'm going to go to film school, and better lean the art of film direction. Something I only have experience in as an independent film maker. Even Indies know that there are a thousand useful things they could learn in school.
Now, I know I have to go through a bunch of bullshit I would rarely use in the real world (i.e. balancing solvents and products in chemical reactions). But If I have to dig through worthless coal to get to the diamonds, it's all worth it.

Video Game Designing.
To be fair though, even though I disagree with him totally, video game design actually requires a qualification. Whereas say, an actor doesn't need one to act. Like I said though, I disagree with him dropping out to pursuit something in the "entertainment" industry.

😐 That's a pretty stupid response man, if you want an opinion. Even if you didn't, I still say the same. Everyone hates school but they pull through with it and finish their education, for one. For two, that job isn't going to last forever and you got DAMN lucky. What are you going to do when you go for another job and they say "Well you don't have a High School Diploma, sorry kiddo!" ?????? 🙄I used to want to quit school too but I sucked it up and now I wanna freaking go back.
You do realise that the lad's from the UK? We don't have a high school diploma here, you're judged on your individual abilities, by GCSEs.

So i dropped out of school with no qualifications and for two weeks i was having fun watching porn and getting fat.But now i go to this training thing in my town. And on the first day we had a test, and i was embarresed to be doing the questions. One question was: 2+2! I'm being serious! and there was people twice my age there who found it difficult
has anyone else been to something like this that teaches basic skills and prepares you for work?
or met anyone stupid enough that does not know 2+2?
Yes I have.jm 😆
actually i dropped out of school my self. I don't regret doing it because i jerked around my first couple of years and i was out on my own when i hit 16. I needed to beable to make money and I knew i couldn't maintain grades while supporting myself. I'm getting my GED, the good enough diploma, and I can still go to college with it. Sometimes i do wish i woulda stayed in school but i know it would have been really hard to do both and i'd start slipping up somewhere. unless youre living on your own, id definately suggest going to school and even if you are living on your own, id atleast suggest giving it a better try than i did.
