Street Fighter IV

So all in all Evo 2010 was an excellent event with great matches, upsets and exciting outcomes. Ricky Ortiz took the mantle of Wong as US's representative in the finals, but he failed to tame the Ume beast. LoL Evo 2010 was free for the beast. Dude beating everyone in moneymatches(especially his rematch with Arturo Sanchez which was just plain awesome)

Here are the placings and characters(some interesting characters making top 8)

1. Daigo - Ryu
2. Ricky Ortiz - Rufus
3. Infiltration - Akuma(Infiltration was uber agressive like most koreans lol. It was awesome watching him go after Gief instead of just running away the entire match)
4. Mike Ross - Honda(he had some incredible matches with Dr.Chaos(Ken) and Gamerbee
5. Gamerbee - Adon (phenomenal performance. This guy's execution and mind games are top notch)
6. Vangief - Zangief (proving that it doesn't matter if your char gets nerfed. Dude does a walking 720 like it is child's play)
7. Shizza - Chun-Li (Alex Valle's apprentice who not only took out Valle, but put on a show. He uses a pad. **** sticks lol)
8. Henry C - Honda

Great matches. Gamerbee is a hero in taiwan, lol. There is a noticible increase in Adon users.

the part that made this the best was that the news reporters all snatched up gamerbee off the plane (in taiwan) and was like "YO YOU BEAT JUSTIN RITE?! OMG!"

Justin did pretty good recently with Makoto.

Any body hear that the ARC version will have 6 new characters? I don't wanna complain but is there anyone who thinks this is a lil excessive? 41 characters can't be a good thing. Lol, I can't wait to see how much they charge.

Elena and R.Mika. That's what I want.

I'd like to see more characters reach some kind of closure in their stories and start a new arc.. how long is guile really gonna search for nash.. or chun li be hell bent about killin bison.. cammy never seems to get closure from her dolls era..(which is what I thought was cool about Juri, but they never really elaborated past the animated short).. they just randomly decide blankas name is jimmy cuz they're lazy.. and so on

I'd still like D.Dark.. and a few others from EX.. too bad arika are bastards.. 🙁

It's not Arika's fault, it's Capcom's. It has been stated that if Capcom USA really wants to, they can do what ever the hell they want with the EX characters just as well as Arika can. Capcom just decided to leave the EX characters in the EX series. They say it wouldn't feel right adding the EX guys without Akira's help. Capcom really likes those guys or something.
