Ken needs a real buff. Not silly shit like making the recovery on his DP shorter. Give him a sweep as fast as Ryu so you can play proper footsies and create knockdowns without having to gamble with DP or waste 2 exbars. Hell I'd be happy with a full animation U1 instead of the messy counter hit business he has to pull right now. I mean his damage output is shitty enough as it is but when you compare him to the big boys it isn't funny.

They need to just restore Ken to his 3rd Strike status. No Parrying would surely even him out.

Yeah I main Ken, but it has to be said-- they absolutely nerfed this guy and bumped Ryu. I'm down with the mascot being strong, but Ryu is bullshite! I mean, tier lists aren't my boat to sail on, but how is it that Ryu and Ken have such discrepancy? They make his sweep garbage (compared to Ryu), his hadoken garbage, his DP has less "priority" than Ryu's (not to mention Ryu's is FASTER) and unless you're fond of his LIGHT attacks (like me), his recovery is insane. It's not fair for two very similar characters to have as wide a berth as they do. I'm chalking this up to Japanese nationalism

Try NO Ryu! Thing is, Ryu aint even top tier! He's like Mid-High tier. So you can't just shove'im in with Honda who's like the king of the hill. I'm just glad Momochi with his Ken and Akuma out did the top Ryu players. It just goes to show that skill matters a lot too.

does he even have any combos into ultra that arent completely situational? I mean Sakura and Gouken are spoon-fed their ultras for christ sake.. ken being one of the original SFers should have gotten something like that right off the bat, imo..

also on a random note.. I kinda liked how his hurricane kick angled upwards in Marvel vs SF

still want violent ken / evil ryu for SF4 XD

Yeah, it's strange. In almost every SF game Ken is like a combo fiend in comparrison to Ryu, now he aint got shit. No matter the game, Ken always had ways to land his big hitters. Now, it's like WTF, and it doesn't help that he's got sissy damage, which is so not Ken.

Literally haven't played a single video game in almost a month. Unless you you count GGPO. So I up to nothin'. Friend says he gonna download the AE Edition. So I guess I'll try to make time to play that.

Don't play it as much as I used to because of Reach and Black Ops but every now and then I get invited by some folks and play.
