Yep Ryu got a hole in his chest. Overall I prefer how E Ryu looks because the red flames are awesome. Although Oni's glow looked great and the hair was kickass he looked kindda fat. Well not fat but Gouken like and I don't like it. However their ultras are awesome. Evil Ryu's U2 might even beat Ryu's Metsu Shoryu as the most painfully badass Shoryu ultra. He starts with a shoryureppa and when it ends he grabs the poor bastard's head and slams it head first into the ground. Oni's ultra is just awesome.

Evil Ryu looks phuckin' rugged and war torn. Tattered clothes, hole in his chest. Scar in the shape of the Ten Kanji on his back. Ryu actually looks very menacing and his U2 just looks wickedly brutal for Ryu. I think Oni looks pretty damn godly, I'm just confused about if that really Akuma or not. He did get "Gouken Big", but boy oh boy do his Ultras look epic, both of'em.
Did you notice that there are 2 Evil Ryu's? Or at least 2 different costumes. Although, one has a ridiculously large glow compared to the other.
They have really taken this Satsui No Hadou thing 2 crazy lvls. There is simply Nergy flying around everywhere. Have U guys really taken a look @ Ryu's Messatsu Gou Shoryu? It's really over the top. Ryu turns the sky black, sucks the blackness from the sky N2 his hand, and smashes U with it. Gouki, I can't really Xplain what the hell is going on, other than 2 say he throws 1 CRAZY Hadouken and does 1 OUTRAGEOUS Shoryuken.
I really want 2 no what's going on with them? What pushed Gouki and Ryu so far? Do they have stories?
I think that Oni is his own character. Has nothing to do with Akuma. He is slower and bulkier.
Evil Ryu is said to play like Akuma without flips and air fireballs. Has low health, like Akuma.
Gouken is his rival I think. Ryu probably goes evil and Gouken probably knocked him out and sealed it away thats what we see.
Are these guys comic to SSFIV via DLC or are they going to release yet another version? Probably not gonna buy if they do that again lol.

As far as impressions go. I'm gong to stick with Red Rapper until sum1 else better can provide their own Xperiences

- His super is R. Demon. His ultra's are a mega fireball and a metsu go shoryu uppercut thing which he hits you with three uppercuts: flies into the air and charges evil energy... and slams you're face into the ground with it.
-Fierce Uppercut Anti Air is back.
- It's all about risk reward. I played E Ryu, and I played normal Ryu against him at one point. Does he makes Ryu obsolete? No way. Essentially, you're getting a different version of Ryu who does more Damage, but in return takes a LOT OF DAMAGE. His low forward is better or worse in some ways, but he has some cool tools that could help out against normal Ryu's bad matchups. However-- he's for sure not overpowered. No way.He's not like Vanilla Sagat either. Vanilla sagat you could guess wrong quite a few times and still pull out a victory with one ultra combo. E Ryu you guess wrong twice you're ****ed. V
Very cool character though. Tons of fun to play and a nice vary up to normal Ryu's style.
ONI
Most of my Oni notes have already been stated but:
-he actually probably has good health. But low damage output. Fierce fierce uppercut with Ryu didn't hurt him that badly.
- Can combo U2 off his ex slide dash move.
- Some of his normals are fairly good(s HK) some are so/so.
- His c. strong is pretty decent.
- His fireballs don't go full screen unless ex'd.
- His shoryuken is good at times and hit and miss at others.
- His demon flip is a really good anti air from some ranges.
- Air teleport seems REALLY good with some practice.
- Can do air ultra fireball... possibly for chip.Overall: seems to have a lot of potential, but needs to be learned. Like I said before, also not overpowered.
Both of these guys are pretty fun to play. They look cool, they're pretty solid, and they're definitely beatable. E Ryu is different from the other Shotos and tbh I wouldn't really call Oni all that shoto like. Yeah, he has a fireball, an uppercut and a tatsu... but the properties are pretty weird, and a lot of his playstyle seems quite different. Exciting stuff.
I wouldn't mind using E. Ryu to counter regular Ryu's bad matchups. In fact that will make me jizz my pants.

I don't mind the low health trade E.Ryu has going for him. I use both Ryu and Akuma(Ryu more but still) so I am used to getting wrecked for guessing wrong. I welcome the teleport and AA fierce DP.
