As for how Ryu looks, his Third Strike version is what looks like crap as he's basically a combination of big foot, a hardcore body builder as opposed to a fighter and with a tiny head. In SFIV his face changed and resembles the face of a gorrilla.

How Ryu looks like in Namco X Capcom is how Ryu should look like, in other words, other than crap and something kickass.

Capcom already stated that it's going to be "strictly 2-D".

I guess that screenshot is from something else then.

No, they say it's plygon'ish but it's still 2-D.

I'm so much more looking forward to Street Fighter HD Remix, though.

Ryu looks more like...himself in that game.

I'm happy. Means the fighting style will still be superb and they can still go off on the maxed out special effects.
