Firestorm vs. Metamorpho

I don't know. It seems kind of silly to blame Superman for WW's lack of success. It's not as if Superman/Action are the only good comics at DC these days or even the best.

JSA and GL are kicking ass and both of them are B list.

Very often, in both marvel and dc, the B-comics have a much better plot line than A-list.

Compare the Immortal Iron Fist to the crap that's being portrayed as a story in Wolverine's books.

Team books are often done well at DC. Unless you count that aweful supergirl and LOS.

JLA and Titans are kind of sucking wind right now. JSA is really all there is.

dont' member any gl's teleporting, going intangible, firing nuclear energy ect. Not that they can't, just never seen it. He can make constructs like them from what I'm seeing. And probably do more as he is fleshed out as a character. I remember a firestorm curing someone of cancer as well. Fuse with other beings. Didn't say he was more versatile either. I just said he could do things they couldn't.

Metamorpho can turn into a silent unseen poison and Firestorm would be dead by the time he realized it.
FS doesn't need to breathe, btw.

But would he stop breathing? Isn't it a normal instinct to do so?

Is he breathing when he goes into space?

I always thought he had a shield on and just kinda auto turning what he breathes out back into oxygen. ANd that is in space. Fighting on earth is something altogether different.

Nope,

No shields. 🙂

Not really, [as once again, FS doesn't breathe]. 🙂

I have to see a scan that says he doesn't breathe. At any rate, he's still human. Skin contact poison for the win. Geez.

That's where the shields come into play. 😛

As I said, he shuts off his breathing in space or something like that. He didnt' know he didn't have to breathe until he entered space conciously. Breathing is a subconcious thing learned over a life time. Why would he stop breathing in earth's atmosphere?

You must not know that about 3 pages before that scan, Jason first became Firestorm.

He had no idea what he could do, which is why he was questioning himself in that instance.
