The Shokan Prince, Goro

Yeah, he's amusing when he's pink.

He doesn't look like a threat at all.

Goro got owned by Johnny Cage in the first Mortal Kombat movie.

He's still cool, though.

The movie is non canon though.

In the games it was Kang that brought defeat to Goro. And as it stands, only Liu Kang defeated Goro.

True, but you have to admit that Goro's reaction to Johnny Cage's low blow was hilarious. 😆

Well in the "Games", if Cage low blow Goro, Goro just takes it and thown Cage, or chest pound Cage. The move outside of damage of couse, hardly had no effect on Goro. Goro should be like a tank, and the move did not do that. A low blow, and a few kicks knocks Goro off a cliff?? Thats not Goro.

He just took him by surprise (something you can't really do in the games). That's all.

Well even if Cage took Goro off guard, I still cant belive Goro went out like a chump.

He had it coming.

No he didnt. Unknown to most people. In the Games, Goro became a good guy for a while, helping Kitana's army defeat whats left of Shao Khan's forces.
Goro is pretty deep. He is not evil. He just wants to look out for the Shokan.

In the movie, he had it coming.

I like the first movie, BUT I wish the fights were more in tone with the games though. I talking buckets and buckets of blood. Subby's head rip ete and all.

The movie seem like a water down version of the game is all.

Why would you want to watch a movie with so much blood in it?

It would have been rated "M" or "R".

So?? And what are the MK games rated?? yep M. They didnt tone down on resident Evil in the movies.

Well, the director of the Mortal Kombat movie may not have wanted a blood fest for each fight.

Come on, we had a lot of great bloody kun fo movies.

Blood Sport comes to mind, most of the cheesy 1970's movies ete.

I think Mortal Kombat could have turn it up a little is all.

Yeah, but less people would want to see it if it's blood everywhere.

I would be one of those people.

Come on , If any normal Human took a punch from a beast like Goro, there would be blood all over the place.

Nobody would want to see that in a movie.

People see movies for BLOOD. I mean thats what made Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, and other movies so great.

Look at the first Conan movie, non horror, but blood fill up to the rim right there.

I doubt many people would want to see Mortal Kombat if it was filled with bloody battles.
