The 300 vs. Vampires (30 Days Of Night)

Movie versions.

Two matches:

1. The 300 know how to kill the Vamps
2. The 300 do not know how to kill the Vamps.

Takes place in the same pass (don't remember the name) that the famous 300 vs. Persian battle took place in. Nighttime permanently, similar illumination to when the 300 fought the Immortals.

Meh... they would learn, but they wouldn't know that beheading is the most effective way to stop one of the Vamps.

Just starts them off at a serious disadvantage, IMO.

did you see the 300?

like 1/3rd of the deaths were beheadings

So... 1/3rd of the Vampires are killed off while the rest slaughter the Spartans?

Is the movie any good?

no

A 1/3rd are killed immediately

and the other will see that the headless stay dead...

It's worth seeing, IMO, though not fantastic.

Hardly immediately... the Vamps are faster and stronger than the Spartans, and it was shown to be fairly hard to cut through them, so I would assume more durable.

And the other ones will be either fighting for their lives, most likely...

Damn straight.

They may not be captain america(he's enhanced) but they are olympic level in terms of strength, training, stamina, durability and have a warrior fighting state of mind. They won't fear the vampires, fear can't be use against them, bravery is one of their center trademarks. They also have expert tragedy and war tactics on their side. The 300's only weakness is they would be out numbered and they could put win battles against the vampires by using superb team dynamics and battle stragedy. However, I'm not so sure they would win the war against the vampires, numbers and enhanced/low super humans abilities of the vamps would count quite a bit.

300 take it son. You saw how they was punking elephants, rhinos, and shit?

how many vampires were there..? And what were their feats. Would Blade be able to easily pwn em all.

There were about 30-40 vampires they had about class 1 strenght at max......and they were moving so fast that human eyes couldn't catch up with them..

Spoiler:
The ending was so ****ing lame when Eben injected himself with vampire blood and beat their leader.

That's what happens at the end of the graphic novel, too.

Spoiler:
Does he still die at the end when the sun comes?

Yup.

30 days of night was very disappointing. For a movie that was supposed to shake up the vampire genre, it really was much ado about nothing, and had a set of really really silly characters.

I really see the spartans taking this by virtue of numbers.
