Hawkeye seems to be the better marksman. That really should have been a maxi series with like 12 issues. they really missed some big bucks with that one.

Surfer wins. Superman is, possibly, the only character in comicdom more annoying and preachy than The Silver Surfer*.

but at least The Silver Surfer's got awesome powers, skills, a cosmic playground in which to have epic battles and he looks cool while flying, which helps to take the edge off the teen-angsty moments.

*Surfer at least has serious wrongs to atone for and a complicated relationship with his personal God (Galactus) which makes for some - potential - morally complicated situations.
