And your troll post wasn't? The first sentence alone kils any credibility you might have. I can buy Superman being on a smiliar level of durability as the Surfer but far beyond him? Yeah... 😂

Superman's durability is so far beyond The Silver Surfer it's ridiculous. WWH's max durability exceeds the Juggernaut, and Superman displayed in the last few issues of Action Comics insane durability that puts him approaching that if not surpassing it what with the crazy amount of damage soak from Solaris going Nova and from his final battle with the other Superman in which he tanked blows that messed with reality. He managed to tag Emperor Joker, who's just as powerful as Mr. Mxy, he'd bricked through magic and Kryptonite and red sun radiation and nuclear bursts several times. He'd gotten pretty strong by the end of the Old DCU continuity. Surfer doesn't really have a prayer. All this talk about transheralds or low skyfather doesn't really mean much when you consider the more outlandish feats of Post-crisis Superman. They were far more consistent the Surfer could ever be as well. Superman's power was well established and universally accepted, and still is among the writers in modern age DC continuity...through various statements and feats.

I agree 1000%
I keep thinking: in all the DC/Marvel crossovers, the respective heroes fought each other, with one exception (afaik): the Superman/Silver Surfer crossover.
When Superman fought the Hulk and Thor, no doubt the companies had to first agree on who was going to win, plus, they put in 'loopholes' to dull the pain. When Superman fought the Hulk (in the Brothers arc), it was Professor Hulk who lost (not one of Hulk's more powerful incarnations). When Superman beat Thor, it was h2h, wherein Thor later stated he now had Superman's 'measure', implying things would be different next time.
But no such clash happened between the Surfer and Superman. Why?
One could say that, in character, these two would not likely fight. But given the trouble-making presence of Mr. Myx and the Impossible Man, circumstances could have easily been manipulated to get around that.
I think the real reason is this: the companies could not come up with a 'realistic' way one hero could beat the other; the best they would allow was when Superman was impressed with the Surfer's ability to re-enlarge Metropolis.
The above aside, it's too bad they didn't fight. I remember what a letdown that was when I first got the comic. My two favorite characters exchanged not a single blow.

I agree that the crossover was a let-down. Th Surfer got a lot of lip-service about how powerful he was and a good feat but I wanted to see a fight, even if it was just a brief exchange.
