Racial superiority is not a required part of racism. You make automatic assumptions about a specific race without anything close to a rational basis. That it unequivocally racist.

Racial superiority is not required for racism but it typically comes with it. Racism began as a way to dehumanize other people. It was not just a way to classify other people of various ethnic backgrounds.
