Sadly, my lack of physical presence in your life prevents me from showing you what I mean in actual "real world" encounters. But, it's typically the cowards version of condemnation in the form of a stray comment lobbed across a room. When confronted, their apparent resolve dissipates into a lot of looking at their hands and saying nothing. It isn't that I'm physically intimidating, it's that I expect them to act on their emotions, and most of your "manly men" don't have it in them. They're just as opposed to actual confrontation as the women they hoped to impress by making the comment in the first place.

stand up for what? mutual ignorance? What I doubt is happening in your life are encounters where race is the determining factor, and not just you, personally. It's possible, but I can't think of any examples in my life or that of my friends where race has been the true factor in the dispute and not the percieved wronging of one person vs. another. Race might get drug into it as a means of machismo, but it's never been the cause of the dispute.

I kinda get what you've been saying but you're making it seem as if Blacks are the only people that get you upset. As if you only see skin. What about white crime. Like White collar crimes. They steal billions of dollars mostly from other hard working decent whites yet you overlook that and worry if that Black guy over there's gonna take an 1.99 valued xbox game cover.
Just put things into perspective. Or maybe think that they act that way towards you cause you act scary towards them even if you look like you're not acting scared or looking cool. You subconsioucly give of an aura of xenophobia that humans can inately sense and that cannot be faked. Just talk to them as you do your white boys. I talk to white boys like i talk to my regular boys. And it works for me.
And the crime thing, just move to an all White town or city then since i'm assuming you'll feel safer there cause you'll think they'll be no crime there either. You got the Moon too. There's zero crime there. That or die of fear stress.

"THEY" being the black majority who are in a position to do so? If you don't judge them, then why make blanket statements about all of them? And if they're somehow different in your city, then why assume that judgment is applicable in all cities in which they live? I'm not sure of what garbage you speak. I don't listen to rap or hip hop; I couldn't care less about Tyler Perry or the WB; I don't play video games at all, nor have I even owned a console since I was 8 and had a nintendo; I don't watch basketball or have a Scarface poster in my home theater. In fact, I don't even have a home theater.
Look, there's no one here who is more proud of who they are, genetically and via herritage. I'm proud of myself and my family. But I don't judge other races based on the actions of the members I've encountered, nor do I condemn them because I have friends who don't act as those members I do condemn. I've been mugged. I've been stolen from. I've been asked for change when I don't have it to give. But I don't dismiss the whole of the every race of the individual that did as much. My first job was in a movie theater, and I saw the fat people asking for extra butter and an extra large diet coke. My knee-jerk reaction was to say it was because they were fat. But they weren't the only ones asking for those things. It seemed the intelligent and observable conclusion, but it was the wrong one on which to base a blanket assumption since they weren't the only ones doing it. Basically, it was the most obvious and lazy conclusion to cling.
