I know you said that racism came from colonisation. You said that Africans have never conquered Europe. They have, I am just adding some more information.
No you aren't, because that's a lie. They once occupied parts of Spain and Southern France and were later driven out. That's one tiny portion of Europe that Europe itself freed soon after.
Whereas Europe conquered the entirity of Africa, Australia and America via the use of technology, and were never driven out by the natives using force of arms. Hence got the feeling of superiority, hence this all coming from Colonialism.
I think people need to appreciate what an enormous deal this all is, historically speaking. In the race between cultures for dominance it was Europe that won. Europe is white. Hence the idea of the superiority of the White man spread because they assumed that was the normal way of things. They assumed it was indicative of the value of the people concerned that Europe had ships and guns and steel, whilst the cultures they discovered and conquered had only wood and brass or even flint.
People in Europe asked this simple question- why is it not the other way around? Why are they not sailing their ships here and attacking us with cannon and pike? Simple answer- they can't do that because we are better than them.
Nowadays we could look at such developmental history objectively and see how the answer is basically location- how much better Eurasia is at promotiing civilisation than any other landmass. But back then, no such perspective existed, and simple natural superiority was assumed, and that legacy created everything we really understand by racism today.
