Sorry to hear that Fox.

I'll adjust the schedule accordingly.

Sad to hear that, Foxie...Now one less opponent to regret about having to beat him.

Got a severe case of Finnish-flavoured deja vu.

I thought that Synch was banned from the tournament?

He wasn't. Gideon was allowed in. As were other power copiers.

Man I was looking forward to facing you guys.

Well good luck with whatever you are doing.

I thought their strategy would contain less reaching, but if they want reaching they'll get reaching 👿 It pays to have good GenX collection of scans.

From the initial post, it seems like speculation. They seem to believe that mimic can copy powers indefinitely. Mimic needs to spend months to learn how to use his powers, he'll kill his own team-mates -.-

OR his body will explode from all of that power.

Even worse speculation is that Synch copies DNA, not energy signatures (he only once copied someone's physical makeup). By copying Synch you'll copy just Synch, not Synch+whatever he happens to sych his aura with.

Then the question becomes, can Mimmick copy the bio aura?

He can copy Synch's aura, but he'll most probably copy it in blank state.

Wrong, actually.

He very clearly changes on physical level if he so wishes, and has done this several times (Skin, Colossus, M, Banshee to name a few). This means that Mimic will copy whatever powers he has at the moment, since he very clearly copies things at physical level too.

I have bundles of proof of all of this. 🙂

This should be settled on actual debate though, why are you posting this here? 😕

Actually, since we amalgamed Synch with Mimic, he has full knowledge on how to use the powers. 😄

We've been on quite a many tournaments, do you really think that we would overlook such things?

Seriously though, stop posting this crap here, and leave the debating to debaters.

I remember only Skin. And it's a duplicate of my post in the battle debate.

Well, you very obviously remember wrong. 😉

This should be continued over at the house of THE MIGHTY GENERAL ZOD, and not here.

Oh are we allowed to discuss other peoples strategies outside of the fights?

Well we could look at one flaw I noticed... The flaw of the physics used in the Whole "Infinitely falling boulder" plan.

Now I could certainly state the reasons why that's ridiculous here and possibly influence the judges, I could even commit the Et tu fallacy and claim that since other people were discussing plans not their own I should as well...

Not to mention gaining access to certain banned abilities and thus violating the no loop holes rule... If you'd like to hear them I'm sure I'd be more than willing to discuss them priveatly with the teams involved... OTherwise if I'm free to I'll also happily reveal the problematic information out in the open.

Take your pick. Public or private makes no difference to me.

They forfeit?

I'm sure it's a legit enough reason and all, so I don't want to say anything bad about them (because I'm not upset...walkovers are boring, but we'll take them). But dropouts always irk me....there was no time this week either of you could've responded? Tourneys are a comittment, but they don't require you every day.

Meh, whatever.

Hey ill, can we get our writeup deleted? Ya know, hide our tactics and such. If not, no worries...I'm just upset that I thought of the symbiotes idea and now have no one to use it on.

🙁

I was under the impression that abilities where banned in drafting of the initial combatants, but not in the amalgam or prepping phases. Am I wrong?
