Anyways when your posting right below the subject box there are two choices of plain text or EZ codes. Make sure the EZ Codes is checked. It worked for me.
But honestly I just think Ill sucks 😛

Actually it was just some stray characters that throw off the codes some how. A lone "/" or "[" here and there that was part of a different value seems to cause code conflicts (whether it be in smilies or urls). The key is to put at least 1-2 spaces after the end of a sentence before you close off the code, and also for sentences/paragraphs which have urls within the body that contain a "/" character to close off the type code before and after the code (so either use the bold code for both halves of the sentence/paragraph, or the whole with a space). I'm not sure why it's so sensitive to the characters.
