Megaman X History (X-X5): Like all the models from his generation, became obsolete and without anyone to repair him, Drige perished. But he was still useful. Many years later Sigma found what remained Dirge and had him rebuilt and upgraded to help in the quest to defeat Mavericks. But unknown to Sigma, Dirge still retained all his previous memories and abilities. But without Megaman still alive to challenge him, Dirge decided to remain with Sigma until he found a new purpose. But he wouldn't remain long, shortly after joining he encountered the Reploid named X. Realizing that X was Dr. Lights sucessor to his main enemy, he sought to destroy him. But he wouldn't be able to do so as long as Sigma and the other Maverick Hunters remained. So Dirge waited, and once he discovered that Sigma had been defeated by the very reploid who defeated him was still alive he realized who his next target would be. Vengeance against Megaman can wait until he defeats the one who had destroyed him. The only problem was getting them alone, in the past the only reason he couldn't achieve his goal was because of timely interferences. So, he went to find the now Maverick Sigma and seek his "assistance". He once again challenged his rival but failed once again due to Zero's interference, who was still superior to him. Once again overestimating his own power, Dirge challenge both reploids and once again was defeated. He was once again resurrected to serve alongside Dynamo but when Eurasia was crashed into Earth, Dirge was unable to escape the blast...
