It's bad to attack anyone in general unless you have a really good legit reason for it...like defending yourself or something

I know, but family members are the worst people that a person could attack, especially the mom.

It's pretty bad to assault your own family.

From what I know of Christian Bale he has never been the type of person to do something like this. Also no one is really saying what type of assault which makes me realize that perhaps all the mam and sister need is money and free press

That thought crossed my mind a few times.

Maybe the mother and sister are just craving for attention, which is sad.

I think he may have been justified. It appears to have been some sort of screaming match between Bale and his momma and sister. It appears that his momma and sister were berating his wife. Which is a huge no no
