it's just the classic series but with Mavericks (named after animals) instead of Robot Masters and Sigma instead of Wily.

You don't like the powered up graphics?

I think they look better then the X series, not as good as Maverick Hunter X, that has better graphics...but really the look is hardly a pro towards X.

True, Maverick Hunter X did have good graphics. But I do prefer the the 2D look most of all. I liked how X8 looked since it wasn't as cartoony as X7.

I loved Maverick Hunter X it's in my top 5 PSP games list.

If I had a PSP I'm sure it'd be up there.

I never heard of Riviara. What's it about?

basically your a wingless angel that is sent to destroy Riviera by the magi, Ursula the protector takes Ein (the main character) to Riviera, although he starts of with no memory he restores it quickly, through the course of the game you interact with 5 females who make up your party, depending on your response towards certain objects or what speech selection you choose determines what happens with them, ie they hate you or love you more, the one who loves you the most by the end of the game is the one you share the ending with

there are the 5 regular endings
a bad ending
and a secret ending

The PSP is a great device. You just buy the PSP, and a big mem stick. Then you never have to buy anything else ever again. 🙂
