Hmm got the latest firmware, or have you upgraded it recently, or have you got a game disk in the PSP already (is it the PSP?)

I have to have a disk in my PSP to play downloaded games now mmm

You have a similar problem to Steve then. You can work around the having the UMD in the PSP.

I still say having the UMD in makes the PSP's battery drain quicker. Some people swear it doesnt.

I have firmware 3.90 M33-3

I always have a UMD in my psp
