I'm not sure. They're both bad since hentai is just revealing pictures of cartoon characters doing sexual things to each other in order to give the viewer sexual satisfaction and hard-ons, and animal porn is just plain disgusting.

The artists only draw the Hentai for the money. They arent making enough drawing the straight stuff. Since they are already drawing the characters anyways it makes sense for them to just draw them doing porn.
Unless you are only referring to the fan-made stuff. Which is a bit different in my opinion. They are just done by people with very limited talent, trying to provide something cheap for people's fetishes.

I consider the animal porn to be worse. It is illegal in all the countries I can think of off the top of my head, yet still gets made. Hentai is legal in most countries.
Now if you pick a specific form of Hentai, say Lolicon, then I would agree with you. That, in my opinion, shouldnt be allowed. Drawn or in real life, it is a topic that everyone should find is taboo in today's society.
Although with my previous statements of legality, I can think of a few countries that allow this to happen in real life. Just so you dont think I am only going by what is legal and what is not.

I thought so. Just like in other areas, people have to do desperate and weird things just to get money. I guess the same situation can be applied to a regular saleman who starts selling drugs since he isn't making enough money selling the normal stuff.
Both fanmade and official hentai is bad, but fanmade hentai is pathetic. The makers of fanmade hentai aren't getting paid to draw that stuff, so they're just wasting their time in trying to satisfy the people with those unusual fetishes, which is what you said.

Well, there are a bunch of stuff being made/produced even though they're illegal in most countries. Marijuana is one of them, so I wouldn't be surprised if there's a Black Market somewhere that smuggles the animal porn from place to place.
Yeah, lolicon is bad. It's already bad that there are pedophiles in society, but having pictures of little kids doing sexual things to each other is just plain wrong. Pedophiles would go crazy over that kind of stuff, and it might not be enough for some people. I admit that one of my favorite anime endings is from a lolicon anime called "Kodomo No Jikan", but I only watch the ending and nothing else. I don't ever plan on watching the episodes.
