Well, I'm pretty sure you'll be playing some more Japan-only games if your college has an anime club. There are people in those clubs who almost always import video games and other stuff.

True, well I hope so. It'd be fun...if they translate some of the things...That's one problem with importing things, you can't get certain games. I could never play an RPG since I wouldn't know the story or even be able to attack/heal.

Well, I doubt anybody would import an RPG unless they knew the language. RPGs are one of the few genres, if not the only genre, that require you to understand the words so you'll know what's going on, and not being able to translate the text would make things difficult.

Then Namco x Capcom would be really tough. At least A.C.E 3 I could do without...mostly anyway.

Fighting, puzzle, and platform games are the easiest games to play without knowledge of what's actually going on, which is why most people import games of those genres.

Yeah, all you need to do is know how to hit or solve stuff.

Exactly, and it doesn't take much to convert that stuff to memory.

Yup, anything else is practically impossible. Wish I could read Japanese to save me some trouble.

Well, you could sign up for a Japanese class at your school.

I need to see if they have one first.

I'm sure that every college has an assortment of language classes, but I might be wrong...

Who knows, if they do that'd be awesome. If they don't then I could always use online.

That's true. There are plenty of things that can be learned online.
