Independence Day went great. Fortunately, nobody got hurt when we were shooting the firecrackers. That's a pretty good picture, and you should add some color to it if you have the right utensils.
Sadly yes, either that or Michale Jackson. Oh, I was briefly watching something on the channel "E" about him. I was basically a program promoting MJ saying all the good things about him. Then they bring up the child related incident...you think they'd omit that for now at least. There was a joke clip show on E as well but this one was saying that the news was "showing the most inappropriate things for MJ" more or less. Basically against what they were showing that would ruin his name or remind of some bad things that may/may not have happened.
Well, I'm not surprised. Michael was accused of pedophilia several times, and those incidents are constantly being parodied in shows like Mad TV and Family Guy. I'm not saying that I believe he's a pedophile, but we should at least stop drawing conclusions from a few incidents.
I'm sure that the news channels will continue to have reports related to Michael Jackson because it'll bring them ratings, which is what every channel wants.
Yeah, I guess you're right. What really annoys me is the fact that a news channel (I forgot which one) was still doing reports about that missing girl named Caley Anthony. She was missing ever since last Summer, they found her body, the mother was arrested, but it's still being talked about in the news.
Honestly, some people just need to move on.
Nah, the only reason why I wouldn't put BET as the worse channel on television is because they have a gospel segment every Sunday morning. MTV doesn't even live up to it's name anymore since they're so obsessed with ratings.
Overall, I think BET is tied for 2nd place with VH1 or in 3rd place. VH1 wouldn't be a bad channel at all if it didn't have those trashy dating shows and whatnot.
True, but I do like the "I Love the" series. It lets me see all of the stuff I wasn't around for or remind me of stuff that happened in the 90's. I probably watch VH1 most out of the three, I never once turned to BET before. But the gospel segment does make it 1 step above MTV's false advertisement.
I watch BET only because of the gospel segments and a few of the other shows since those shows used to come on other channels, i.e. Smart Guy and the Proud Family. I refuse to watch any of the reality shows on that channel because they're guaranteed to be filled with stereotypes. If it wasn't for the gospel segment, BET would be tied with MTV as the worst channels on television.
I don't watch MTV at all. There used to be a few shows that I watched on that channel a few years ago, but the current line-up is mostly garbage. The fact that they have a show that follows the lives of pregnant 16 year-old girls lets us know how desperate they are for ratings. That, and the fact that they almost never show anything related to music unless it's used to promote a reality series.
VH1 has a bunch of stuff that are both informative and entertaining, but their reality shows are too trashy. You can tell that they love milking their reality stars, which is what they do with that New York girl. Doesn't she have about three shows?
Well, the Charm School series is much better than the dating shows for those reasons, but it's obvious that most of the girls go on there just to try and win that money. Basically, it's a good way to get ratings because you have the troublesome girls from various series in one show. The only reasons why I saw the first Charm School was because Mo'Nique was the host, and she's one of my favorite comedians.
Wow, that's too much. VH1 needs to let her go, but I doubt that'll ever happen.
I wouldn't know since the only Charm School I paid attention to was the first season, but the winner really did want to change her old habits since she embarrassed herself in the show she came from. I can't say the same for most of the other contestants...
What's worse is that people love to watch her. Honestly, I don't know why...
Well, I just hope that certain girls don't act horribly on reality shows just so they could have a second chance at getting the prize money in a Charm School show. That would be pathetic.
If you're going to purposely embarrass yourself and misbehave on national television just to increase your chances of getting money, then you got issues. Unless the purpose of the show is to embarrass yourself, then you don't have any excuses.
