Hi Yoshi. moomba
If it's within your power to help others out then I think you should.

Of course. There's nothing wrong with helping others as long as it's for the right reasons.

What would you say is a wrong reason?

A wrong reason to help someone is if you know that person is doing something wrong. If you know that someone is building a bomb to blow up an occupied school, then it would be wrong to help that person out.

Oh, a little extreme as an example but I get it.

Yeah, that was the first example that came to my mind.

Either way, it's good to know what the person is doing before you help him/her out.

True, wouldn't want to help the wrong person.

Yep, which might make you regret the decision afterwards.

So, what have you been doing lately?

Did some food shopping earlier, tried to relax a little, then came on the computer so I could talk/write.

That's good. Besides my usual routine, I was able to buy my books for the upcoming semester. It's best to buy books as soon as possible since there might be some used books available.

Yeah, I know.

Yep, and cheap books are always better as long as they're intact.

Yeah, where do you get your books?

I usually check the on-campus bookstore for used books. If I don't see any there, then I would search for the book online and buy the cheapest copy I can find.

Okay then, just wondering.

I just don't like to spend large amount of money on books. The fact that college tuition is increased every year doesn't help me out, either.

Yeah, the way you do it is best in my opinion.

Out of all the legal ways, it might be the best way to get books. Then again, I guess it would be even better if the books were given to a person for free.

Yeah, that's the best way to get stuff.

Having a scholarship is the most popular way to get free books, but some people don't get a scholarship when graduating from high school.
