Yup, if you're too high up you die. IN other words don't jump down an elevator shaft. Aliens can fall from any height and not get hurt at all. Predators can be pretty high but can still get hurt and die from falling.

I'm guessing this is all in AvP2 since that not in the one I'm playing

Well the elevator shaft thing was a joke but the height thing still applies. Maybe it did change more then I thought...

I jumped down some pretty high places and lost no health, there are places you can't jump down sure but those place are obvious since they are just pitch black

Yeah they do that a lot...Won't be so fun when you're a Marine though. That is the hardest character to play with.

Why?

They have only long range, bad vision in the dark, there light needs to recharge, and of course they have the hardest time regaining life/armor and ammo. Not to mention their the slowest of the three. Have fun gunning down a wave of Aliens when you have to reload...or face a Predator you can't even locate. Plus the radar only works in the direction their facing.

I remember last level of AvP (before the bonus levels that is) I had to take on the alien queen with nothing but a spear gun and wrist blades...she killed me once and then I was able to beat her but as a marine I get the chances she'd kick my ass

Yeah pretty much, you need the gatling gun for that one...and a lot of luck...

No, but I still needed to fight the Alien Queen in part 2. I know it's not an easy feat at all. Especially since she kept bringing out Drones to help her...🙁

That didn't happen in no.1, I think I may have chopped one of her arms off with the spear gun as well unless I had hit her somewhere to make her keep splurting out blood which isn't really something that happens in those games but it helped to see her. I just kept shooting the hell outta her, finally she died but damn she wouldn't go down faster than a thai hooker...I dunno if my shoulder cannon or pistol woulda made much difference but they weren't allowed since it woulda been bad for my honor or some crap like that.

Hmm...interesting...I'm trying to remember...I think you get to use them in part 2 but I can't say for certain. If I could then she was still pretty tough to beat...If I even fought her that is...I need to play it again to be certain.

What would be cool is if you could use exosuit cargo-loader to take on the alien queen when playing as a marine, I remember seeing one in AvP...tried to use it but I think it was just a prop or whatever or predators can't use it....those racists

😂 Against Predators yes they are. The only time you get that suit is when it's required or by code. I'm not sure you get it for a Queen fight though...I know you get it when traversing a Hive.
