Best Spider-Man movie villain.
Strange to think an American comic book adaptation, had it's best success with a movie that stared a British Actor as the Villain, also strange to think that out of all the movie villains Ock was the best, and he was British, compered to all the others who were American.

Haha true and come to think of it Batman Begins was an American comic book adaptation and it had quite a few Brits working on it including Brit actors, Brit director and Brit designers.
Christan Bale- Batman/Bruce Wayne (Welsh)
Cilian Murphy- Dr Johnathan Crane/Scarecrow (Irish)
Liam Neeson- Henri Ducard/Ras Al Gaul (Irish)
Sir Micheal Cain- Alfred Pennyworth (English)
So in short the Brits do a fine job on Comic Book movies 😎

Not in the comics. ❌
Yes he did...in fantasic four adventures they have a story called The fantastic orginin of Doctor Doom I even have the quote from the comic book: 'Well, it looks like someone else is as anxious to see the science lab as I am! My names Richards, fella....Reed Richards!' That was when he first met Victor before the FF and before Victor became Doctor Doom, so you see...he did know Reed before the FF in the comics 😄
In his very first comic appearence I doubt we knew much about him...the origin of Doom comic was a very old one...even has the old artwork...so I am guessing it was made possibly maybe a little after his first appearence. I think it is safe to say he knew Richards before they became enemies. It's a well known fact that they did.

That was a recon, not something Stan Lee envisioned, that makes me. 😠
I know what you mean Neo I kind of dislike recon things to like for example Joker and the whole falling into vat of acid was added in the 50s but originally we did not know where the Joker came from he was just there which I am glad to hear Chris Nolan is sticking to very closely giving Joker no origin in The Dark Knight. 😄

He was more mysterious back then, which made him all the more sinister, I am all for small hints to what happened, but I am sure Bob was not thinking about a origin rather an actual villain to be despised by the reader.
True did you know he was actually due to die in his 2nd appreance and I read them comics to good thing he lived and became the old arch nemesis we all know and love today. And its a strange thing also because Batman fans have actually made Joker more of the arch nemesis to Batman like for example during the 80s the fans voted for him to kill Jason Todd of and all that.
That was about the Joker Steve, sorry I sort of moved on to the Joker, but if there is one thing I hate more then change, and different universes, its recons.

Yep I know about that, but like Venom (who was to meet the same fate) popularity prevailed.

KICK ASS 😎
I am really looking forward to The Dark Knight I mean no offense to any Jack Nicholson fans out there but imo I don`t think he was that good as The Joker and this is due to the fact that to me he played more JN in makeup as opposed to The Joker but on the other hand he did have some Joker moments in the movie. But Heath Ledger in my view is going to be the ultimate Joker from what I have seen and heard I mean the comics he is basing this Joker of is brill first two appreances and The Killing Joke. Ladies and gents Heath Ledger in my is gonna be the Joker that Bob Kane originally co created back in 1940. 😮💨

About time, we get a real depiction of the Joker, from the golden era.
Yep true Neo did you ever like Nicholson as Joker?? I am not disrespecting his acting because a lot of movies I think he was good in like The Shinning and most recently his role in The Departed was good. But imo his approach for the Joker in Batman was all wrong and I watched on the DVD special features they are like saying we must preserve Jack when playing the Joker whats up with that. When I see JN as the Joker I just see JN with makeup as opposed to Ledger who you can`t recgonise at all which means he has sunk into the the role a lot better and you can tell. I think for Batman 89 Jack`s stardom got the better of him so when you watch him as the Joker you just see JN not the Joker in my mind. And also take into consideration the fact he demanded a huge pay cheque for the movie. In contrast recently Ledger said in a interview he would play Joker even in a low budget movie because of his love of the character.
This is my list of the actors who I thought were good Jokers.
1. Mark Hamil
2. Ceaser Romero
3. Jack Nicholson
I will not add Ledger till i have seen the movie but from what I have seen and heard he is looking like my new number one I mean his unique voice and laugh are already sounding as good as Hamil`s voice and laugh. 🙂
