Yes indeed and also I firmly believe that everyone is a GEEK in a way and it is beyond me why the label GEEK is tied to people who genrally like Comics and Sci-Fi.

Supposedly "normal" people use it as an insult for the people who choose to be different.

Well thats just wrong imo I mean it frustrates me how some LOTR fan boys I know call me GEEK when clearly they are to because they know so much about the particular subject and in their case LOTR.

That sucks. I've never been called a Geek by anyone other then my brother. And what those LOTR fanboys said to you just stupid. I'd say hypocritical if they said they weren't geeks.
