In my opinion, Venom's main problem in Spiderman 3, appearance-wise, was his build. If he was more muscular, then he would have looked much more cooler.
Overall he was okay imo I wish they changed his voice, made him more muscular, actually named him in the movie and more screen time like at least another fight scene where he totally woops Spidey`s ass. 😎
Its funny. Steve criticizes the old Hercules movies for the bear fight scenes. The bear was obviously a guy in a bear costume, but somehow the Venom in Spidey 3 was something to be in awe of.

Overall I quite liked Spider-Man 3 yes it was the weakest out of the three movies imo but it still had some good things like Sandman, the New Goblin arc was perfect, Gwen was good and Bruce Campbell.
I just wish they had done things differently. The actors should not dictate what should or shouldnt be in the movie. There should have been no show tunes. If that is what Kristen wants to do, then let her go on broadway.

So true and I actually blame the producers for this movie not been as good as it should have been because they decided to cram loads into the movie. Like I think about months after the orginal script was written which was originally going to have Sandman and Vulture they decided to put Gwen Stacy in, then the symbiote and then finally Venom and we all know Sam Rami does not think to kindly of Venom so he had to kill him of. 😠

Venom was riddled with problems from the begging by choosing TG as Venom.
True, and yet there were people on this forum that thought it was a good idea. I guess having a non-threatening enemy is somehow the key to a good action movie. :🙂

True as well. They tried very hard to put as many things as they could into the possible last movie. I guess they didn't see what happened with the Batman movies when they started adding to much into them.
In my opioun it was not over cramming that destroyed the Batman movie franchise of the 90s but instead it was the fact that Warner Bros hired a director who had to make Batman movie just to sell toys and get money they did not care about the fan base infact they very much underestimated it. Infact to this very day I do not know of any serious Batman fan who is not still pissed of at what Joel and Warner Bros did the name of Batman in the years 1995 and 1997 with Batman Forever and B&R.
