That's because he wears makeup this time, and it gets worse the more into the film. 😐

From the very get go Batman fans knew that Chris Nolan was going to put a new spin on The Joker and him not being perarma white does not really bother me as much as it does to other Batman fans. From what I can tell from so far both Ledger and Nolan have gotten the personality of the Joker down to perfection and at the end of the day thats what matters to me most rather then just being faithful to the look of the character.
