That's good for you, Shin.

When did you see Dalton on stage?

I saw him on stage about 3 years ago he was playing Lord Asyral in the His Dark Materials stage play.

Did you get his autograph?

No but it was an absolute honor to watch him and its a crying shame to me that his James Bond is very underated.

How is it underrated?

People tend to slate him because he was a more serious Bond then Moore who was very tongue in cheek but his Bond along with Craig, Connery and even Brosnan was very faithful to Ian Flemming`s Bond. Dalton`s Bond to me is the most human Bond and out of all the actors to play Bond and he looks closetest to the description of Bond as in the novels.

Part of Timothy's problem was he only got to do two movies. He followed Roger Moore who played the part.... differently. But Roger was Bond for like 12 years and did 7 movies. So that is what people were used to.

Timothy brought a darker edge to the character, one that was sorely needed. It definitely showed at the box office.

I think if Timothy had accepted the role when it was first presented to him, he would be held in the same esteem that Sean Connery is. He could have done 9 movies (Roger's 7 and Timothy's 2) and just been the epitome of Bond.

But he chose not to take the role at first. Then when it came around, he only got to do the two movies. Then with the legal issues, his last film got cancelled and they gave the role to Pierce.

So in summary I just think he didnt get enough exposure in the role. he needed more movies.

Oh, okay.

Well, he did do a good job.

True indeed this is my list of favorite Bond actors.

1. Sean Connery/Daniel Craig
2. Timothy Dalton
3. Pierce Brosnan
4. Roger Moore

I guess we're the only ones left.

What are you doing at the moment, besides bumping old threads? 😂

I am sitting here watching MSNBC eating Doritos.

It is funny how many times that Steve makes the exact same thread.

He will make one, then a few months later... he makes it again. lol

I tell him all the time that he has a horrible memory, and this just proves it hands down.

Technically, he didn't make the same thread.

One thread was to discuss different ways how Carnage can be introduced in a movie, while the other thread was to gather opinions on two ideas of how Carnage can be introduced in a movie.

They're similar, but not exactly the same.

lol. I agree that the Carnage threads were similar, but he should have just bumped the old one.

The Mary Jane threads.... the only difference was that one time he wasn't arsed enough to actually type out Mary Jane. lol
