I just found out this morning that you can get banned for saying mean things about other people in your profile. ermm

It happened to a dude named Jacopex. He got banned for 2 days.

hmmI just think it's weird to ban someone over their profile. Seriously, there are plenty of people on KMC who like to copy and past quotes into their profile. Some of the quotes are funny, some of them are stupid, and some of them are just mean and/or offensive comments made towards other members.

Wouldn't you think that the people who "profiled" those mean and/or offensive comments made towards other members would get banned too since Jacopex got banned for a similar reason?

Yes, but I suppose the mods don't have the time nor the reason to look at everyone's profile. So I suppose it would only come to their notice if someone complained about it.

But then the person that has the profile in question, JacopeX in this instance, should at least be able to delete the mean and/or offensive comments before being banned.

I was thinking that, too. He may have not known that saying mean things about other members on his profile was a bannable offense. I sure didn't.

I think the conflict in a thread that he got into last night may have contributed to his temporary ban. mmm

Yeah, they are fairly easy to make. He uses the same layout over and over. He just changes the color, and pastes the pic. Then he throws a shadow down, and voila, a new forum pass.

I figured that it was that easy, but I was hoping that I was wrong.
