If I do, it is no fault of my own - I have never even met the guy, know nothing about him. Everyone else here does, and seems to suspect everyone new, including me. I just don't get it.

@Quiero - I spend roughly 3-4 hours a day online. I am a fast typer, and have fast internet, which helps.

No need for the overuse of smilies and it isn't simply because of a high post count.

That aint Whirly. The mannerisms of the speech patterns are nowhere near the same. You pick on Whirly he passively fights back with smilies and witty retorts. Usually includes alot more "🙂" smilies and certainly doesn't fight back in the manner this person is. I've never seen Whirly use action brackets like *shrugs*. Personally I liked Whirly, he was always interesting to read about during his skirmishes with GalacticStorm down in the Comic section. This person ain't Whirly.

Have to agree with RJ, it's really kinda lame.

I remember a friend of mine getting accused of being Whirly.We signed up to this site around the same time and I was actually sat next to him at the time. I think maybe people are a little hasty in throwing the word sock around, on this site. All you're achieving by doing so is giving Whirly a higher status.
